She not only captured my husband and I's intimate mountain top elopement, but her and Jed also followed us through out the rest of the day and photographed our reception that we held with family and friends. “Hire Lo. You won't regret it. Not only does she know what she is doing in terms of getting all the planned shots, she got incredible candid shots and live shots of my groom and I, our families, and our guests. As we've been looking back so far at our pictures, we get to relive the emotion of the day. It's the intangible thing that an incredible photographer can do--capture the emotion. I can feel our joy radiating out of our photos and I am so grateful I hired Lo. Years from now we are going to get to experience this day over-and-over because the quality of her photos is incredible. The variety of shots she was able to get makes it seem like she had second shooter (but she's just that good). Our first look was perfect. She made sure we got some golden hour shots and then got us right back to dinner so we could eat. She also is incredible at giving minor adjustment tips to make sure we weren't doing anything weird with our hands lol. Additionally, and this was big for me, working with her ahead of the wedding she reminded me how to be excited for this day. Wedding planning was stressful, but every time I got to talk to Lo she got me back to a place of being excited and joyful. The day-of when she showed up, she helped make sure we had everything covered, and kept me calm even when some things went wrong. “Hiring Katy to photograph our wedding in Spain was hands down one of the best decisions we made. Not only were my husband and I absolutely blown away by our photos, but every single friend and family member we shared our gallery with said the exact same thing: *"Your photographer was amazing!"* Since we hired Katy from the U.S. to photograph our destination wedding, it wasn't in our budget to also bring an assistant. Although she never once complained about it, I know that made her job ten times harder. Even so, she handled everything seamlessly. She was always in the right place at the right time, helped coordinate family photos, kept our timeline on track, and somehow managed to capture every meaningful moment without missing a beat. She honestly became so much more than our photographer—she felt like a second wedding planner. Her outgoing, fun, calming, and energetic personality made such a difference throughout the weekend, and we were incredibly grateful to have her by our side. Destination weddings come with plenty of logistical challenges, but Katy navigated every one of them effortlessly. She figured out multiple venue locations, coordinated transportation in a remote town without a car, and I never once had to wonder where she was or check in with her.
