I can't say enough good things about FlowerWorks and Rachel -- and neither can our wedding guests! Our flowers were truly the talk of our wedding, but what our guests didn't get to see was how Rachel took my very limited knowledge and vision for our florals (lots of texture, color, etc.) and turned it into the arrangements of our dreams. Her knowledge of flowers was evident in our proposal, which included photos of each type of flower which helped paint the picture of possibility for us. She even helped my mom surprise me with a special pin made of her veil for my bouquet, making our day-of and getting ready time even more memorable. From start to finish, I would not have changed a thing and cannot recommend Rachel and FlowerWorks enough!

New Leaf Florals

5.0

Plainville, CT

The first day I worked in floral design, I knew I was home. It quickly became my passion, inspiration, and outlet and has allowed me to bring so much added beauty to people’s favorite days! It’s all in the details and as overwhelming as it may be, that’s where I find solace! Working as a partner and team mate to my clients, I find, creates the best experience to fit everyone’s needs, keeping the quality of product and experience! With that being said, let’s get to work!

Taylor’s flowers are seriously BEAUTIFUL! I was so happy with how they turned out. They really made a huge difference in what my wedding looked like. Guests were especially impressed with the two arrangements right in our ceremony space. I just gave Taylor a color scene and she made my dream come to life! Taylor is also very kind and easy to work with. 100% recommend!

      Milford, CT
      • Starts at $3,000

The granddaughter of two gardeners, I have always felt a connection to the earth through the soil. When someone brings flowers into a room, something changes...an energy, an excitement! I love being able to bring that kind of beauty into peoples lives. I'm a small-town girl who enjoys anything that involves working with my hands from cooking to knitting. I'm a total animal lover (partial to dogs), a die-hard Grey's Anatomy fan, and I take my martinis extra dirty. When I'm not flowering in our studio in Milford, Connecticut, I'm mommin' to three amazing little boys (our dog Pippa and cat, Galaxy).

I absolutely loved the process with Poppy. The only thing I would say that I missed out was meeting my florist day of to say thank you. Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

I was wanting some pretty unique color combinations, and they worked with me so well! They helped me come up with some ideas while also making sure that everything I wanted was in my flower arrangements. I had a flower crown, bouquets, boutonnieres, and centerpieces. They were all beautiful, they all came quickly, and were stored properly.

      Little Blooms

      5.0

      Nashua, NH
      • Starts at $4,000
      • Serves Farmington, CT

I started my business in 2018, after I finished floral design classes from Cass School of Floral in Watertown, MA. I have had hands on experience from Floral Arts in Westford, MA and have completed over 15 weddings in my time as a floral designer. I have a little intern named Larry, a corgi-pit mix, who is the model for Little Blooms, who you will see a lot of on Instagram. I love using locally grown flowers as much as I can in my work, to really showcase 'farm to florist'.

      Awarded Best of Zola
I could not recommend Danielle and her company Little Blooms more. She took my vision for a whimsical/romantic English garden party with lots of pastels, and produced gorgeous floral arrangements that were a hundred times better than I imagined. Many people said they were some of the most beautiful wedding florals they had ever seen. My bridal bouquet was a dream and the arbor she created was a perfect match for our theme. And, she managed to do all of this within our budget. If Danielle is available on your date, book her now!

Tracy was amazing to work with, from the first initial meeting to the day of the wedding. As a new bride who had no clue what she was doing, I gave Tracy bits and pieces of a dream I had for my florals, she was able to put everything together and bring my vision to life but a millions times better than anything I could have ever expected. Tracy herself is an angel! Easy to work with, very responsive and always helpful. After speaking to her the first time I was at ease. I knew that she would be able to piece everything together and create something beautiful and she did just that. As for the florals, they were beyond beautiful. The different textures of both live and dried florals that she pieced together into this incredible arrangement were unreal. When Tracy dropped off my bouquet to me I was in awe, and never wanted to let them go. To say that everything was "perfect" and a "dream" is such an understatement and does not do Tracy or her floral arrangements justice.
