The Other Barn is nestled in the heart of Howard County, MD, providing a rustic and charming barn setting, close to home. Originally a dairy barn, it now provides a unique, elegant, and warm atmosphere perfect for celebrating life's special moments. The Other Barn is ideal for hosting outdoor wedding ceremonies and indoor wedding receptions on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The Other Barn prides itself on being an affordable, local venue while allowing our clients to choose all of their own vendors in order to watch their dreams become a reality on their special day. Clients are required to bring in a licensed caterer of their choice. We offer a full kitchen, a large ice machine, and ice chests. We will set up tables and chairs for you prior to your event, according to a specialized floor plan that you design with our Facility & Rental Coordinator. Table coverings, decorations, and other set-ups will be provided and put in place by the client and their vendors.

Our unique venue has an amazing space for weddings and upscale events. Our 3rd floor Ballroom has both indoor and outdoor event space with beautiful backdrops of the Baltimore cityscape. The 3rd floor is unique in that it only has our largest ballroom to give your event a private event setting. You would not share this space with any other event. The beautiful Grand Ballroom is accentuated with imported European chandeliers, seats 425 with a private bridal suite, fixed bar, raised stage, fixed dance floor, two balconies and direct access to the outdoor space. The spacious Outdoor Courtyard can host up to 800 seated and approximately 2,000 guests for a cocktail reception. The space features a complete Amphitheater with a large raised stage, dance floor and outdoor concession windows.
