“My fiancé, Rica, and I didn’t originally plan on having our wedding and reception at Bay Pointe. We hadn’t looked at any place that far away, 1 hour from home. Two weeks before the wedding our original venue had a fire and we had to scramble to find a new location. Mariesa Colavincenzo, the Catering Sales Manager at Bay Pointe, came to our rescue. With her and her staffs’ help we were able to pull off a miracle and have a beautiful wedding using part of the restaurant and the deck, looking out on the lake… a perfect backdrop for our vows and the reception. Everyone remarked about how beautiful the setting was and also how wonderful the food was. We had 2 appetizers and a 3-entry buffet that was absolutely delicious! Set on 24 private acres of farmland, woods, and a winding creek, our venue blends timeless elegance with modern design. Couples will discover two stunning spaces — The Promise, an all-white chapel with a floor-to-ceiling glass altar and glass French doors that open to the outdoors, and The 2912, a 5,000 sq. ft. event hall featuring 1930s-inspired charm, modern touches, and seating for up to 200 guests.
