Built-in 1897, A Christian Saloon welcomed visitors arriving at the Elgin Train Depot, now the Depot Museum., directly across the square. I earned $50 and a six-pack of beer for a one-hour session on a Canon AE1 35 MM film camera I bought at a yard sale.
