The comfortable antique pews and chairs added a lovely ambiance. Afterwards, we adjourned to the house for a buffet, toasts to the departed, and family unity. Altogether a wonderful experience! “Our big day could not have gone better, and we owe so much of that to the incredible team at Crystal Springs! From the very beginning, Cameron was instrumental in helping us secure an amazing deal and a comprehensive package that offered incredible value. Nikki provided expert guidance during our initial planning meeting, and Lindsay was a total rockstar, she was with us every step of the way, from the early planning stages to being our seamless Day-of Coordinator. We also want to give a special shout-out to Megan, who was in training on our wedding day but handled everything with such grace and care that you’d never have known she was still learning the ropes! The entire team ensured that every detail of our vision made sense and offered constant reassurance whenever we had questions or "wedding jitters" during the process. One of the biggest highlights was their quick thinking when our family arrived at the venue earlier than expected; they jumped in immediately with a creative solution to make sure the bride wasn't seen before our first-look photos! We also truly appreciated their flexibility, as they allowed us to bring in boba as a secondary sweet treat without any additional charges. Our guests loved it, and it was such a meaningful personal touch to have included. We are so grateful to the Crystal Springs team for making our wedding day so joyful and stress-free!”

“The Pearl will forever hold a special place in the hearts of myself and my husband. It was the first venue we toured and we knew right away it was going to make for such a special wedding day. We are now 2 days post wedding and we couldn't be happier with our decision. The entire planning process was a breeze thanks to Carrie. All of our guests raved abut how amazing it was that the ceremony and reception were at the same location! We did our ceremony on the roof, as well as our cocktail hour on the roof. Then we had guests walk downstairs to our reception area. The bartenders were incredible and did a fantastic job keeping our 130 guests well fueled. We hired Melons Catering, a caterer on The Pearl's short list of caterers, who absolutely knocked it out of the park when it came to the food. Guests couldn't stop talking about the quality and service of dinner! We are over the moon with how our wedding went and have zero bad things to say about The Pearl, or anyone who works there. If you're looking for a venue that screams urban city, but green and organic as well... look no further, as The Pearl can do it all. 10/10 recommend!!”

“From the moment I sent an initial request to Diane, the event manager, working with BStar was an absolute Joy. I was able to work with Diane to meet the needs of our group including several dietary restrictions. She had no problem going back and forth and adjusting the menu. When we got to the restaurant we were in the most adorable private room. It was inside, but felt like it was outside with the decor. Each place was set with a personalized menu (we did not ask for this, they just did it on their own). The manager, Matt was amazing. He set us up, made recommendations on drinks and then talked us through the appetizers we had ordered. We had the Appetizer combo platter (Platha dipper, veggie samosas, spring rolls. and firecracker cauliflower ) and Sticky Finger Riblettes and green tea salad. We then ordered off the menu. Each food was better than the next. The manager and our server were so attentive to us. When we got the bill it was perfect. No errors at all. I would literally eat here every day, as well as have a private event here every time I could. Too bad I live on the east coast.”

“My husband and I had a gorgeous wedding retreat at Venture in September 2025. Our 3-day retreat allowed us to slow down with the people we love the most and share the beauty of the place we live (Northern California) with those traveling from afar (East Coast, France, Canada). Our wedding was entirely DIY, which gave us the freedom to customize the different moments to our liking. The glamping tents were wonderful. We did not have access to the indoor lodging in the main house (only the bathroom), and the event was still incredible. We filled all the tents and some folks stayed off-site. We loved our vendors and would be more than happy to share more information with those interested (BBQ catering from Oakland, Bay Area coffee truck, local Half Moon Bay caterer for dinner, local florist, killer DJ on Friday and band on Saturday, local photographer, etc). The wedding weekend could not have turned out better. We only have fond memories of this experience. We did most things ourselves (we made the drinks, we designed the paper, signage, etc., and we relied on our supportive community to help us where we needed it), mostly because we were on a very tight budget. We worked closely with our wedding coordinator to ensure all the pieces aligned. The folks at Venture did the best they could with the staff they had. Communication was sometimes a challenge; they had one staff member doing all the outreach and communication with prospective and existing clients. Ensure that you have a very organized/good coordinator and that there is sufficient staff for all of your needs. Ours coordinator and hired staff went above and beyond to ensure that I was not thinking about any logistics or challenges that arose during the weekend retreat. Overall, the venue was a delight. Nestled in the bosom of the coastal redwood forest. I would recommend this venue to any couple looking for something genuine, bespoke, and flexible. The weather was perfect, the air was perfect, the vibes were perfect!”

The venue itself is incredibly charming, with historic character and beautiful natural surroundings, it's also situated perfectly at the end of Pescadero's main street so its private but at the same time just a few steps away from a market, local coffee shop and historic saloon! Lisa and Victor went above and beyond to ensure every detail was attended to, and we received so many compliments from our guests on the overall beauty and comfort of the space. “Sam's Grill may be the fifth-oldest restaurant in the country, but it trades not on that, but on its food, its fun and its friendliness. Its seafood is the best on the West Coast, which means you won't get sand dabs or rex sole if they weren't caught the night before. (You will at other restaurants, which means they aren't fresh, despite the waiter's oleaginous assurances.) The steaks-- especially for a fish house-- are praised by steak lovers (I'm partial to seafood), and the burgers and breakfasts served in Sam's Tavern are the best in town. And since town is San Francisco, that's saying something.”

“This review is long overdue as my wedding was in September of 2025, but it is SO warranted! I could not have asked for a better experience than having my wedding at the Presidio Golf Course. Kat and her team were a DREAM to work with. I had no formal planner, and yet, I don't think I needed one due to the amazing help of Kat. We hired her to be our day of coordinator, but truly, she did so much more than this. From the beginning tour, I knew that the Presidio was the right choice (and I toured 20 other venues)! Everything felt so smooth in the lead up, we were given time to come to the venue the day before to practice so we could have our nerves a bit assuaged the day of, and then the wedding day... I truly can say that I would change nothing! The night before the wedding I somehow managed not to sleep at all, and arriving at the venue I was feeling a bit low energy and hungry. Before anything even started, Kat had the head chef make me a bowl of buttered noodles and a coffee, and I knew that I had made the right choice. It comfortably fit our whole guest count which was somewhere in the 160 range and with various packages to choose from, this still felt like an affordable option for the city. The baby Guinness shots, the personal note to congratulate us on being married, the golf cart to sweep us away for pictures in the fog - I don't plan on getting married again, but if I ever need to, the good thing is I won't have to do any planning, because I would choose this venue time and time again. Save yourself the time and energy and stress of finding a venue, and just choose the Presidio and Kat and her team!”

“We are so, so happy with our decision to hold our wedding reception at the Log Cabin at the Presidio. I would recommend the Log Cabin and Wedgewood Weddings to anyone looking for an all-in-one package, easy breezy planning, awesome event planners/coordinators, and a flawlessly executed day. The Log Cabin itself is beautiful, the food was amazing, the drinks were flowing, the flowers were beautiful, and the location in the Presidio is perfect. They have a fabulous team to help you plan and execute the wedding of your dreams! The team (Duckie, Jimmy, and Libby - huge shoutout!) all were awesome to work with through the planning process. Super communicative, responsive, professional, knowledgeable, and supportive through the whole thing. They helped us plan the most perfect day and made it so easy on us. Jimmy was our day-of coordinator and deserves extra praise for pivoting gracefully and adjusting the evening’s timeline flawlessly when our shuttles unfortunately were super late to arrive with our guests. The rest of the day-of team were all amazing, too. DJ Abel blew our socks off - we didn’t want typical wedding music, and he totally nailed the playlist and the vibe we were hoping for. I even had a touching moment with the security guard who pulled me aside and said he got emotional during the father/daughter dance, which was such a lovely thing for him to share. Wedgewood as an organization seems to have a very organized, structured approach to wedding planning, which I so appreciated. They were great partners and helped us have the most perfect day on one of the biggest days of our lives!”
