Thomas Fogarty Winery is an intimate, elegant, and relaxing setting for memorable events! Surrounded by our working vineyards & handsome redwoods, our event spaces flow down the mountainside on three separate levels, each offering stunning views. Our spacious Hill House & Pavilion accommodates indoor and outdoor weddings, corporate, and other private events. The 4,000 sq. ft. covered Pavilion overlooks our Damiana Chardonnay vineyard and can host the ultimate outdoor reception. It also serves as an elegant alternate ceremony space for our special wedding couples. Our Pavilion's unique copper roof and open air feel make the structure truly a Bay Area "one of a kind.” The Hill House and its adjoining Terrace is perfect for an indoor dining reception, lined with glass windows on runners allowing it to be closed off on cooler days without sacrificing our famous view. Above the clouds, nestled in nature, the Ceremony Lawn is the perfect romantic setting to exchange your vows. We host one wedding per day and feature the flexibility to move between indoor and outdoor spaces, depending on your unique vision.

Pavilion

Our covered Pavilion, with a stunning view and closer to the vineyard, serves as an open air dining space or an alternative to the ceremony lawn.

After the ceremony, guests can enjoy our limited production wines during cocktail hour on the terrace deck. Dinner follows in the covered Pavilion, a stunning 4,000 square foot space, suspended over Chardonnay and Pinot Noir vineyards. There is no other place like this on the Peninsula!

The floor to ceiling windows of the enclosed Terrace provide an indoor dining option on cooler days without sacrificing the famous view.

The Hill House Terrace's floor to ceiling windows allow the beautiful expansive view with the protection of being indoors. This space allows for flexibility in cooler months and is connected to the Hill House. Installed heaters provide warmth on chilly evenings while fresh air flows in through the fully opened glass windows. The indoor space can be utilized for dining, desserts, photo booth, or wine tastings.

    Gorgeous Venue

    We've decorated 2 events at this venue and can confidently say it's one of the most beautiful venues with breathtaking views that make it perfect for any event! The staff is helpful and friendly. Looking forward to working here again.

    We absolutely adore working with the team at Thomas Fogarty. They are responsive, kind, helpful and have become fast friends with our team. You also cannot beat the view or the wine! Everyone on their vendor list is also top notch and we always enjoy working with everyone!

Your venue rental includes nine hours from start to finish, including the time it takes vendors staff to set up and clean up. Additional time is available at an hourly rate. Latest guest departure is 10:00pm.
We are proud to share our list of Preferred Vendors which includes Caterers. We do require the use of a Caterer, DJ, and Transportation service from this list. We do not have a restaurant or catering onsite.
Yes, we have 40 self-parking spaces for smaller events. Shuttles required for groups over 80 guests.
Definitely. couples have the ability to move indoors or outdoors for their reception based upon day-of weather related changes. As we host only one wedding per day, all wedding venue spaces are available for the couple to have flexibility in their planning.
For no additional fee, we have an inventory of tables and chairs (white for ceremonies and wooden for dining) to accommodate up to 200 guests. Furniture inventory is included in venue rental.
We welcome your leashed family pet to your event, along with a signed Animal Addendum, and with supervision at all times.
Our couples are invited to schedule a 1-hour ceremony rehearsal with us and is included in the rental fee.
On our Ceremony Lawn, live flower petals are permitted with approval. Confetti, rice and birdseed are prohibited, as well as sparklers and balloons, due to our fragile nature setting.
All wine & beer must be purchased through the winery, no hard alcohol or liquor permitted.
Absolutely! We host scheduled wedding venue tours most weekdays and select weekends. Inquire with us for our next available tour! Tours are approximately 45 -60 minutes and include the opportunity to review our upcoming wedding season availability with you.
Great question! Weather is unpredictable though follows general Bay Area trends. Our elevation of 2,000ft means we are in a microclimate that tends to be cooler than down below, though there are days that are warmer.
Yes, our facilities are wheelchair accessible. We also have ramps at the ceremony lawn and side entrance to the reception area.
Our building is located approximately 30 miles away from either San Francisco Airport or San Jose Mineta Airport. Please reach out to our Events office for directions.
We do need couples to secure a one-day insurance policy. Please reach out for more information as we are happy to assist with our requirements for this.
Booking fees for our facilities, and all payments made including deposits, are non-refundable. Any exceptions to this is at the winery's discretion and on a case by case basis. If you cancel your event, we’ll bill you the full amount of all estimated charges.
Our peak months are May, June, July, August, September, and October. Please reach out in advance if your desired date is within this peak season!
We offer lowered wedding venue rates for off-peak season months from November through April.
Our venue rental includes a buyout of our beautiful wedding spaces, wedding rehearsal hour, limited storage space of items pre-ceremony, use of our tables, chairs. market umbrellas and wine barrels. Reach out for a full list!
