Woodland Floral Design Co.
Rating: 5.0 (78 reviews)
  • Florist
  • Serves Dry Run, PA

Proud Cat & Dog Mom // Your New Wedding Vendor BFF It’s never been just about pretty flowers to me. I started out in social work because I wanted to serve and connect with others. I first entered the floral design world as an intern in 2016 and noticed a lack of originality in designs and a need for more connection between the florist and the couple. When I started WFD in 2019, I decided to prioritize both artistic designs and building long-term relationships with each couple. Planning my own wedding in 2021 gave me an even deeper appreciation for the importance of receiving creative expertise and genuine support from wedding vendors.

Awarded Best of Zola
We are beyond grateful for the exquisite floral arrangements by Misha (Woodland Florals) for our wedding day. Every detail, from the bouquets to the centerpieces, was meticulously crafted and stunningly beautiful. Misha perfectly captured our vision and style, incorporating our chosen colors and flowers flawlessly. Guests were in awe of the floral decor, and it truly elevated the ambiance of our venue and vision. Working with Misha was a pleasure; she was professional, attentive, and responsive throughout the entire process. When I described wanting something different, bold, and undeniably pretty for our bridesmaid bouquets, she took our vision and wove it into a masterpiece. She has this incredible knack for listening not just to what you say, but to what you want deep down. Her creations are not just flowers; they're a reflection of her artistry and her ability to capture the essence of your dreams. Her and her team’s expertise and creativity shone through, ensuring that our wedding day was adorned with floral arrangements that exceeded our expectations. Thank you, Misha, for contributing to our unforgettable day with your exceptional talent and dedication to perfection!

Helianthus and Lace is a wedding and event floral design business serving the deeply in love. Helianthus is the Latin term for sunflower and comes from the root Helio and Greek Helios, meaning Sun. As sunflowers are growing and beginning to bloom, they turn their heads towards the sun. I find this to be a great analogy for life - always look on the bright side. Flowers have been a part of my life since 2014, and I have been flowering weddings since 2018. I'm so glad you are here!

Growing up in Lancaster, PA means growing up with the best soil in the world. From an early age, I've found my way into the garden: planting, deadheading spent blooms, creating arrangements out of any flower or green. Now I'm taking it one step further to transcend your wedding or event dreams into reality.

Awarded Best of Zola
I am SO happy I found Kate and Honeybee & Fox Co for our wedding florals!! From the initial conversation, Kate understood my vision and she was genuinely excited to help me bring it to life! Kate was willing to work within my budget, and she really helped me maximize every dollar! She was an expert at pinpointing the styles and flowers I liked, and she always steered me in the right direction (which was super helpful for me since I’m incredibly indecisive). Kate was flexible and willing to take on challenges, too; instead of carrying a traditional bouquet, I wanted my bridesmaids to carry lanterns with moss and flowers. Kate and I collaborated to find the right kind of lanterns and we discussed thoroughly what could be done to achieve my vision. Kate even went above and beyond by including items from her own personal collection to help elevate my decor and florals! Throughout the process, Kate was very responsive via e-mails and texts. On my wedding day, I was completely BLOWN AWAY by the florals—everything from my bouquet, to the lanterns, to our statement piece for the ceremony. My friends and family were stunned by the unique florals and arrangements, and they thought everything looked expensive and unique! I am so grateful for Kate and Honeybee & Fox Co - they worked so hard to make my wedding day look and feel exactly the way I wanted it to!! Thank you so much, Kate!

My husband and I worked with Paul for both our engagement session and wedding. Knowing nothing about CIP, we decided to work with them due to the affordability of their wedding packages and ample portfolio photos. It was important to us that we found someone who could capture both the sappiness and the goofiness of our relationship, and Paul nailed it. Not only was he personable and entertaining, he also knew exactly what he was doing. He asked us the right questions prior to the big day and made sure we knew what to expect, and he slid very easily into the role of MC, which made the event run so much smoother. Not only that, but the turnaround time for photos was FAST, which was definitely a pleasant surprise! I have nothing but praise for Paul and the CIP team and am so thankful we got the pleasure of working with them.

My earliest memories are always centered around picking flowers in my mothers gardens. I would grab one of the glass bottles she collected and play around with any flowers I could find. Flower design is my passion. My shop is located in our 150 year old barn that in itself is full of character. I try to be a vendor who is easy and fun to work with. I am human and understand money does not grow on trees so I try my hardest to work within the client's budget. Each bouquet I create tells a story, each unique beautiful.

Hi! I’m Taylor Mihaljevic (she/her), a queer, film + digital wedding photographer based in PA and passport-ready. I capture honest, artful images that reflect your love exactly as it is—joyful, sacred, weird, and wonderful. From mountaintop vows to packed dance floors, I’m here to document it all with care, intuition, and intention. When we work together, you’ll walk away with a gallery that feels like you—not just how it looked, but how it felt to be there.

Awarded Best of Zola
I honestly don’t even know how to write a review that does Taylor justice—she is just that incredible. From the very beginning, her energy made us feel instantly comfortable, safe, and completely able to be ourselves. As a queer couple, finding a queer photographer who truly gets it was such a gift. We never had to explain ourselves or hold anything back—we felt fully seen the entire time. As two plus-sized brides, this meant even more. Not every photographer knows how to capture all body types in a way that feels natural and beautiful—but Taylor just does. We didn’t even need to have a big conversation about it—we just felt confident and in good hands. And somehow, even the most candid moments look incredible. It still blows our minds. Her photography is on another level, but what truly sets her apart is how much she invests in her clients. She was so much more than our photographer—she helped guide us through the entire planning process with thoughtful check-ins, timeline support, and so much care. She made what could have been overwhelming feel organized, collaborative, and even fun. She is also one of the most professional and on-top-of-it vendors we worked with (and we had some amazing vendors). We always felt taken care of. Her second photographer, Bec, was also incredible. The two of them worked so seamlessly together and were completely in tune with our needs. At one point during the day, I mentioned feeling frustrated about a detail I had envisioned, and they immediately stepped in with a “we’ve got you” attitude—and somehow made it happen right away. We felt so supported, seen, and prioritized throughout the entire day. It was also 1000% worth having a second photographer. We didn’t originally plan on it, but we are so glad we did. They captured everything—both of us, our guests, and so many meaningful in-between moments that we’ll cherish forever. We’ve now done four shoots with Taylor, and at this point we joke that we just keep booking her so we can hang out. Creating with her is always the best experience. Truly, hiring Taylor was the best money we spent on our wedding. We didn’t choose the cheapest option—we chose the best. Some things aren’t worth cutting corners on, and this is one of them. What you’re investing in with Taylor is so much more than your wedding day. It’s months of thoughtful planning, guidance, care, and the time she pours into understanding your vision and bringing it to life in a way that feels completely personal. That level of experience and intention is something you can’t fully understand until you go through it—but it is worth every single penny. We are so glad we trusted that and didn’t let price be the deciding factor. She is worth the splurge, worth the investment, and clearly knows her worth—for good reason. We cannot recommend her enough.

Erica had me feeling like a million bucks on my wedding day!! I was looking for a specific Asian-inspired makeup look that would enhance my natural features, and Erica absolutely delivered. She came to the trial incredibly well-prepared, having done her research, and was fully tuned in to the aesthetic I was going for. She took time to listen to any concerns I had about products and skin sensitivities, and made me feel completely at ease throughout the entire process. Between the trial and the wedding day, she welcomed my (very few) notes and truly nailed the final look—it was better than I could have ever imagined. I honestly couldn’t believe how amazing I looked! Even after hours of dancing, my makeup was flawless and held up beautifully. Erica brought my vision to life with such precision and care. Taylor is kind, professional, and beyond organized - everything you could want and need in a coordinator. Taylor created a custom package for our unique, day-of coordinating needs. Our wedding was out of town for her, and she still attended our final, pre-planning meeting at the venue. Taylor listened to every question we had and detail we needed and was so proactive in asking questions we didn't even think about. Her coordinating was truly magical. She quietly made a difference everywhere she went. She didn't bother you with day-of questions and knew exactly what needed to be done and just did it. She takes initiative with humility and respect. She was helpful to not only us as her clients but also to every other vendor involved in the wedding from onsite staff to the DJ and band. Kathy made our dream flowers come true!!! Going into wedding planning, we were on a tight budget. Flowers were so so important to us and our love story, but we knew that our budget for flowers was on the smaller side especially considering our larger bridal parties and bouquets for two brides. When we found Kathy and her amazing work with so much color we knew we wanted to work with her. After our phone call, and hearing her process, we knew it was a perfect match. She sent us her "formula" aka all of the flowers she was thinking about using for our day so we could visualize what they would look like and it brought us so much joy! Our wedding day came and Kathy showed up with the most beautiful and colorful arrangements that captured our joy and love for each other. We kept getting comments all night and the days following "Your flowers were STUNNING! We love them so much!" Kathy was a gem to work with, worked with our budget, and created such beautiful pieces. Aside from her work, Kathy is just one of the most genuinely kind people to work with. She is so caring and will respond to your 1 am emails, and is so affirming. She will be your biggest cheerleader and get you excited for your big day. We are forever grateful for her and cannot recommend her enough!!!

Katie has been involved in so many important moments of our lives. We stumbled upon Katie when we needed a pretty last minute newborn session scheduled for our daughter. We knew from that first session that we would want to have Katie be apart of our lives to capture these moments we hold so dear. We later had Katie capture our engagement photos and family photos. And we recently had her join us on our wedding day. We cannot be more happy with the quality and detail that goes into her work. She is a great communicator and always gets the best shot. Her work speaks for itself but I would recommend her to anyone.

Our experience with Mist Moss started with meeting them over zoom to see if they fit our vibe. We wanted a photographer and videographer that would be able to capture all of the special moments of our wedding day without having the whole day feel like a photoshoot. We wanted to be present while still getting amazing footage. Chad and Warren fit this vibe 100%. Not only are they amazing people, but they are also absolutely amazing at what they do. They met us for our engagement shoot, and we instantly knew they would give us everything we wanted and more. My husband, who hates taking photos, was pleasantly surprised that he had fun during our engagement shoot. It was more like hanging out with friends and did not feel forced at all. The photos they gave us from that session came out absolutely amazing. No over-editing, just amazing photography. They are so enthusiastic in what they do, you can't help but be happy around them. They were very organized when it came to our wedding day. We gave them a list of photo groupings we absolutely needed, and did not make it easy for them considering we did not do a first look and wanted to be at our cocktail hour immediately following our ceremony. Warren did everything he could possibly do to bang out those portraits as quickly as possible so we were able to enjoy our cocktail hour. Warren and chad were able to capture so many amazing moments throughout our wedding day, and we were absolutely amazed when we received our sneak peaks and full album back. Every time we watch our wedding video, we are both in tears, as it reflects the most amazing parts of the day, and specifically embodied the two of us. And I cannot say how many people have commented on how beautiful our photos turned out. The whole album brings a smile to my face when I scroll through them all. Our wedding day, our relationship, perfectly captured. If you needed a sign to book Mist Moss...this is it. You will absolutely not regret it, and likely they will be your favorite vendor that you book!

The Stone Mill 1792 is an absolutely lovely venue. From the staff to the grounds, I couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful place to get married at. From our very meeting to our wedding day, TSM1792 team was so communicative, friendly, and supportive. Michael, Matthew, and Allyson were such lovely people to work with. The day of staff was amazing too, always communicating the plans and details and asking me what I wanted/needed. Their landscaping crew is also top notch - the flowers and trees and grass were all in such amazing condition. Our guests are still talking about what a lovely venue it was. Thank you TSM1792 for making our wedding day the best and being part of our journey.

Where to begin… just can’t express any of what we felt fully in words but we will try. Drumore estate was exactly what we had hoped for and MORE in a venue and gave us our perfect day with “no notes”! What drew us to Drumore and they delivered: 1. Multi seasonal - due to temperature and cost, we quickly decided that we wanted an off season winter wedding. Something that was very important to us was having a good indoor ceremony space. They were incredibly flexible up to the day of the ceremony (game time decision) to do the ceremony inside or outside depending upon weather. 2. Exclusive use/flexibility pre-post wedding - although we had other venues that we loved, a big thing that set Drumore apart from other venues was its feeling of making the day exclusively our day (one wedding a day) giving us the flexibility to use the entire estate literally all day from 8am - 10pm, in addition to allowing us to drop off things the day before and pick up the day after. This really allowed us and our families to be fully present in the day and not feel rushed/more stressed. Trust us, this was HUGE and truly made all the difference! 3. All inclusive - it was very important to us to pick a venue that had a lot included. Drumore came with onsite catering, bar service, all linens, tables, etc. bridal and groom suit, ceremony space, cocktail space, reception space and so on. We also utilized their third party rental service which was extremely affordable and great for last minute additions with zero hassle. Also, huge bonus, the food was phenomenal, we did a buffet and our guests truly loved it! 4. MARNIE! (Wedding Planner) - Planning a wedding without your own personal wedding planner can be intimidating, but Marnie did far more than your average venue facilitator. She is so enthusiastic, yet detailed, which allows her to thrive in this type of role. When we met with her we were able to break down every step and detail of our day and left feeling very confident in our decisions and plan. She even helped create a step by step timeline. Not only did she help us prepare, but was present on the day of, always stepping in at the right moments without taking attention away from our special moments. We can’t express truly how Marnie’s hard work made our day special. She was also great with responding to all the one off email questions throughout the months leading up. 5. We understand this is a lot of detail, but we really wanted to highlight all the things that set Drumore apart and helped make our day so perfect. We have endless compliments on how amazing the venue was from all our guests. Although weddings are expensive, between keeping our guest list to a manageable hundred people and having it off season, we felt like Drumore provided a day that from an outside perspective you would assume the wedding cost us well over 50k with how stunning and just perfect everything was and looked. We had 100 guests in the ballroom for the ceremony and the carriage house for the reception and felt that fit our event perfectly. All in all it’s hard to imagine our day and the planning leading up could have gone any better “NO NOTES”! We would highly recommend exploring Drumore as an option for your big day!
