“Avec L'Amour captured our wedding in June of 2023. We went with Avec L'Amour because we really liked the style and felt the prices were extremely reasonable compared to some of the other videographers out there. We went with the package that included the highlight film and the feature-length film. The audio on the feature-length film is a little tough to hear because of all the background noise, but we were outdoors and in front of a lake, so it’s understandable. While planning for our wedding, we worked directly with John. He had great energy and seemed very prepared every time we interacted with him. However, we never met John in-person because the day before our wedding, he reached out saying he could no longer make it and would be sending a replacement instead. This was understandably very stressful, but fortunately the replacement he sent was awesome. We would have liked to know this update earlier if possible, however we know that’s not always possible, and this was our only complaint in working with him. When John sent us the footage of our wedding, we were so happy with it with the exception of one place where the audio didn’t match up, one place where suddenly the video went purple, and the fact that one of our best man’s speeches was completely left out of the highlight reel; we brought these concerns to John, and he fixed them with no hesitation in a timely manner. Though we can’t review John’s videography or wedding day presence directly, we did have a good experience with his company and would recommend it!”

“There are not enough words I can say about Gabe--he has been an absolute dream to work with! Literally anything that could've been thrown at him, he went with it, and executed beautifully!!! My wedding date changed THREE times because of COVID, and he was always willing and flexible to find the perfect date for him and all of my vendors. My wedding was also outside in Miami, FL in early April. Normally, our weather is pretty good and beautiful evenings are almost guaranteed. Instead, we had a storm unlike any other storm I have seen in YEARS (outside of hurricane season). There were TROPICAL STORM FORCE WINDS in our outdoor/indoor wedding, and Gabe somehow managed to get the most incredible photos EVER. We really emphasized just how much we wanted the pictures to be honest and candid, and the gallery he sent us is literally the essence of that. He truly captured all of the craziness, last-minute changes, fun, and love from our day. Gabe was so friendly, so easy to get to know, and we wouldn't have wanted any one else to be our photographer. “It was love at first sight when I found Blooming Faith Photography on Zola! I was struck by the classic style of the portraits and natural air of those being photographed. It was exactly what I was looking for! Melissa was quick to respond to my inquiry and provided all the info I needed right off the bat. She is detailed and thorough in her correspondence and planning, which I appreciated since we only had 5 months to plan our wedding long distance. She offered an introductory Zoom consultation to discuss our vision for the photos so we could feel at ease leading up to the actual day. When the time came, Melissa was the consummate professional! We did a First Look shoot, and she lead the way completely, to avoid any awkward mishaps and to insure we got the moment captured on our video as well. All of our formal photos were posed beautifully and naturally, and she timed it all perfectly (which was great, because it was quite cold!) She’s also great with kids! Our flower girl and ring bearer had a great time doing photos. At both the ceremony and reception, Melissa didn’t miss a single moment yet remained respectful and discreet. Her experience and expertise is obvious! And the photos that we’ve seen so far have been absolutely gorgeous. Timeless and sophisticated while still capturing the joy from that day. And as a human being, we couldn’t have asked for a kinder soul to capture everything for us. Melissa’s warmth and care brought the whole experience to another level. I always feel awkward in front of a camera and my husband tires of being on camera easily but with Juan behind his, we felt so natural! It was like hanging out with your best friend. We flew Juan out to Baltimore to be there to capture our wedding and I'm so glad we weren't deterred by his not being local because just the preview alone gives me chills. If you're looking for a videographer, especially if you're on the fence about even needing a video, we strongly recommend a discovery call with Juan before you decide.
