Kayleen Shearer Photography
Rating: 5.0 (16 reviews)
·Ratings include Zola and Google reviews
  • Editorial style
  • Starts at $4,000
  • Serves Dallas, TX

A documentary and editorial-styled photographer creating timeless, authentic, and emotional wedding photos based in New York City and Dallas, TX. Lover of film photography, emotional moments, fun flash reception photos and a genuine care for the couples I work with! I frequently photograph weddings in the New York area, Texas, and Southern California.

“Kayleen was absolutely wonderful! From our first conversation, she felt like a close friend who was along for the ride, directing us for our engagement shoot and capturing every moment of our wedding perfectly. She was so kind, understanding, and receptive to our ideas, working with us to provide perfect moments. She was such a wonderful, energetic person to spend a good chunk of our wedding day with and the photos turned out amazing! Not only that, she had our wedding highlights back to us within 48 hours and our entire album back within 8 weeks! (Which was well over 1000 pictures, each one edited perfectly!) We loved working with Kayleen, have personally recommended her to our friends, and will continue to recommend her! She's the absolute best! Jack and Kelly :)”

“Nick & Sara were wonderful to work with! They navigated all of the unique aspects of our wedding gracefully. Throughout the night, I had stretches where I didn't realize they were there capturing the moments. They were extremely polite and not disruptive to the festivities when they wanted to capture a special scene or shot. Loving the sneak peek photos - they are exactly the style we wanted - and can't wait to see the rest.”

One of my favorite parts of what I do is creating an experience where my couples can actually enjoy their wedding day. I’ll guide you when you need direction, help you feel comfortable in front of the camera, and step back when a moment deserves to unfold naturally. I want you to look through your photographs years from now and remember more than what everything looked like, I want you to remember how it felt to be there. Photography is incredibly personal to me because these images eventually become part of your family’s history. Trends will change, but the people you love, the emotions you experienced, and the memories you created deserve to be preserved beautifully.

“We chose Jamileth Photography and couldn't have been happier with our decision. Aranza was quick to respond to every question we had and made the whole process so easy from start to finish. On our wedding day, she was calm and patient with us and our family, which helped ease my nerves and made me feel beautiful in every photo. Since she had shot at our courthouse venue before, she knew all the hidden spots and got shots in corners we didn't even know existed. Her attention to detail really shows in our photos - she captured the small moments that matter and made sure we looked our best in every frame. I would recommend Jamileth Photography to anyone looking for a photographer who cares about getting to know you and your story.”

  • Starts at $2,080

Hi, I’m the person behind the camera at Phenomenon Studio. I know being in front of a camera can feel a little awkward. Most of my couples tell me they don’t know how to pose—and honestly, they don’t have to. I’ll guide you when you need it, give you space when you don’t, and make sure nothing ever feels forced. The best photos happen when you’re simply enjoying the moment together.

“We looked at more than ten photography studios before choosing Phenomenon Studio for our courthouse wedding, and we’re so glad we did. The courthouse was about an hour from their studio, but they made the drive without hesitation and were wonderful to work with throughout the day. We booked both photography and videography, and the results were beautiful. They also sent us a few edited photos that same day so we could share them with our family. We really appreciated their thoughtful service and would happily recommend Phenomenon Studio.”

I started my career first as a photographer and social media manager for a local business. After getting thrown into the photographer world for my day job, I started my own business doing portrait sessions and, eventually, my first wedding. Fast forward six years and over 100 weddings—I’m in love!! With my couples and with running around the world chasing epic moments and beautiful sunsets. With you and for you <3 With an editorial background from the likes of Vogue, I also incorporate romantic poses that truly make each couple shine. This guarantees beautiful imagery to look back on for years to come.

Awarded Best of Zola
“Julia honestly felt like a friend from the moment she walked in. She has this calm, kind way about her that made me forget we were even taking photos half the time. She didn’t just show up and snap pictures—she noticed little things, like fixing my veil before I walked down the aisle and making sure my hair wasn’t stuck in my earrings. Those small things made a huge difference in how relaxed I felt. She gave us just enough direction so we looked our best but never felt stiff or fake. Some of my favorite shots are the completely unplanned ones—me laughing with my bridesmaids in the dressing room, my parents hugging during the ceremony, and a photo of my husband and me sneaking away for a quick breath between dances. When we got our photos back, it didn’t feel like just a wedding gallery—it felt like reliving the whole day. Every photo has a little piece of the story, and you can tell she actually cared about capturing it right.”

TIMELESS. AUTHENTIC. DETAILED. I believe in the amazing blessing of God giving us people in our lives to stand beside us long after the aisle. When the big day comes to a storybook end, you will leave your beautifully decorated ceremony and reception with your forever partner...and your pictures.  All of that planning and preparation is preserved in your images, so you'll want them to be high quality, elegant and authentic so that you can enjoy reminiscing over them for anniversaries to come.

Awarded Best of Zola
“Brandy Gray from Firefly Photography captured our wedding day in a way we couldn't have imagined. She has a real gift for making you feel beautiful and special in front of the camera, which shows in every single photo. Beyond just taking pictures, Brandy gave us helpful tips on the run of the show that made our day flow so much smoother. The quality of her work is outstanding—the photos are flattering and show how much she cares about her work and making you happy. We were blown away by how she managed to catch all the little moments that mattered to us. If you're looking for a photographer who cares about your day as much as you do, Brandy is the one. We also utilized her for our engagement/family pictures. She was so sweet and patient with our three demanding preteen/teenage daughters!”

You don't want your wedding day to feel like a five-hour photoshoot. You want to actually live it. I'm Erick, the photographer behind Love Pic Love — a documentary wedding studio based in Dallas, TX, for couples who value the art of the unposed. I don't think the best images are the ones where you're stiffly smiling at the camera. LOVING, COMPASSIONATE, FRIENDLY, POSITIVE, HOPELESS ROMANTIC WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER BASED IN DALLAS, TX My photography style is a mix of candid and posed images. I prefer the candid moments, so it captures the true essence of the moment. I decided to pursue photography as a business in 2009 while planning our own wedding. I have photographed over 400 couple's stories from Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, Houston, Palm Springs, Temecula, Albuquerque, Mississippi, and beyond.

“Monica is a wonderful photographer. I’m obsessed with the photos she captured on my wedding day (and during my bridal portraits in separate session). On the wedding day, she captured EVERYTHING — wedding details, decor, guests, family, sweet candid moments of me and my husband during the first look, ceremony, and reception, and of course, the most iconic, gorgeous portraits of us too. She was very helpful in suggesting poses that looked natural and beautiful. Monica has a great eye for lighting and how to capture the beauty of a venue. She’s also great at capturing people — our wedding party included people of varying skin tones and she made everyone look good (ie no one was overexposed or underexposed). Monica and her team were so easy to work with and really listened to what my husband and I wanted (in terms of what we wanted captured or what poses we wanted to try), while also being attentive to our guests and capturing beautiful photos of them too. She was also very patient and has a calming presence. I would happily work with her again.”

My husband and I were nervous about having our photos taken as we never had them done professionally before, but when we did our engagement session she told us exactly how to pose and what to do and they came out so beautiful and I still love looking back at our wedding photos, she captured the best moments. She even shot our newborns photos 10 months after our wedding (our honeymoon baby, lol) and she is a wizard with a swaddle blanket. Can’t recommend her enough!”

Chantelle Renee Photography

"How long have you been doing photography" is a tricky question. I discovered a joy in photography during childhood. I built a foundation for photography in the darkroom during high school. I found a passion for photography when I began photographing music in 2009. Concert photos have a way of capturing energy and motion that just grabs you. Between the stage lights and the musicians it taught me how to capture passionate, uncontrollable situations. So I naturally progressed into weddings, where candid opportunities are endless. Where moments are organic, crazy, and last but a split second.

Mroof Photography
Rating: 5.0 (14 reviews)
Dallas, TX
  • Photojournalistic style

It's been over 20 years since I first began my journey as a photographer. Most of that has been devoted to weddings. I knew right away just after shooting my first wedding 14 years ago that I had found my calling. It was perfect because I could combine my passion for photography and love. I am a hopeless romantic at heart. When it comes to my work, I believe every detail matters. No wedding is too small. No detail is too insignificant. I strive to capture it all with the time we are given.

Awarded Best of Zola
“It's not every day I meet a photographer in our special event industry that I think super highly of. Sure, plenty of photo pros are talented, and some are very nice people. It's less common to find someone who is both, though. Luigee is that dude! Take a look at some of these images he's captured for different folks here around North Texas. What I really love is not only the quality, the depth of field, the color, and lighting, etc.... I love the variety. This guy is adept at creating all sorts of images and making them all equally spectacular. If you have an idea, he can probably help make it a reality with his camera. The fact that he's friendly as can be and works extremely well with others is a huge bonus, too. Again, not that common in our field, surprisingly. It's therefore with great pleasure that I recommend Mroof Photography for your special event or other photographic needs. Book him and be thrilled you did!”

Kearsten Taylor Photography
Rating: 5.0 (8 reviews)
Dallas, TX
  • Photojournalistic style

I'm a calm, old soul and have been photographing weddings since 2012. I live for capturing the genuine moments of two people in love on film & digital mediums. Our approach is documentary and photo journalistic. We're here for the unposed and in-between instances, the gentle touches and loving glances, the grand scene of the day, the quiet, close details, and everything in-between. Capturing love stories is an honor - thankful would be an understatement. When I’m not behind a camera, I am most likely spending time with family, traveling, walking too fast, or have my nose in a book.

Awarded Best of Zola
“Kearsten is a dream wedding photographer. My husband and I had never done any kind of professional photoshoot together before she showed up the night of our rehearsal dinner. She immediately put us at ease and made us feel like we were just walking around with a friend. She blended in so well that we quickly forgot that she was even there! I wanted photos that felt like they captured real moments as they happened instead of a ton of portraits and posed photos. Kearsten captured this vibe perfectly and produced better photos than I could have ever imagined. To top it all off, she turned our entire rehearsal dinner and wedding albums around in 4 weeks. If you want natural, documentary style, beautiful film photos, Kearsten is your girl.”

I’m Tina, a wedding photographer with a heart for the moments that make your day feel alive. I’ll be on the dance floor during the reception to capture the best photos, and I’m always watching for the little in-between moments that become the memories you’ll want to relive forever. My style blends editorial, documentary, and nostalgic film photography, so your gallery feels elevated, emotional, and true to the day. As a 90's baby, I’ve always loved the mood, texture, and timeless feeling that film brings to a story. More than anything, I want my couples to feel comfortable, celebrated, and completely themselves in front of my camera.

“Tina is such a joy to work with and be around! She arrived right on time, was incredibly communicative and easy to get in touch with, and brought such a positive energy and creative touch to our wedding day. She’s so much fun to work with while still being professional and attentive to all the small details. One of our favorite things about having her there was how comfortable she made everyone feel. She wasn’t afraid to chat with our guests and joke around and get to know people, which helped everyone relax and feel much more natural in front of the camera. She fit in so seamlessly and brought so much vibrance to our wedding day! We just received our wedding video and could not be happier with how beautifully it turned out! We’ve already received multiple compliments on how well done it was, and Tina’s creative touch made it feel so much more personal and heartfelt. Watching it made us so happy and gave us the chance to relive our wedding day all over again including so many little moments. You can tell that Tina puts so much care, passion, and heart into what she does and it really shows in her work. We feel so lucky that she was the one who captured such an important day for us and are glad that we went with Tina and The Velvet Frame. We already booked a follow up wedding shoot with her and look forward to working with her again when we hit future milestones!”

The quality of her work is truly priceless - if we had to do it all over again, we would choose Catherine as our photographer 1000%. She has such a calming, positive presence and was the ultimate hype girl, ensuring everyone had fun and felt great in front of the camera. The photos she captured of our special day are our most prized possession - she has an incredible eye for detail and effortlessly documented all the little moments that made our wedding so unique and special. Catherine is the sweetest soul and the most talented photographer we could have hoped for. We cannot recommend her highly enough!”

I started my journey as a portrait & fashion photographer, primarily in London, England working with modeling agencies before moving to America with my husband 6 years ago. I would describe my style as modern, moody, and timeless. More so after raising my two boys, I began changing my photography direction toward couples & their unique love stories. I strive to capture each raw moment that truly captures this memorable day for you both. With an editorial background from the likes of Vogue, I also incorporate romantic poses that truly make each couple shine. This guarantees beautiful imagery to look back on for years to come.

“Heather and her team are absolutely FANTASTIC! We hired her for our engagement photos and wedding and we are so happy! She is so organized, excellent at keeping everyone moving, and her photography and editing is incredible. She creates shots that I never could have imagined and directs tiny details while also allowing for candid moments. She was with us all day for our wedding and always was ready to capture us or people around us. When she walks into a room you can see her mind working to scope out the perfect spot and it is so incredible to watch. She is truly an artist and made us feel so special and comfortable on our wedding day and engagement photoshoot. We felt like we were in a magazine the way she edits the photos and captures everything. Highly recommend and will book her again for all of our big moments!”
