I'm a calm, old soul and have been photographing weddings since 2012. I live for capturing the genuine moments of two people in love on film & digital mediums. Our approach is documentary and photo journalistic. We're here for the unposed and in-between instances, the gentle touches and loving glances, the grand scene of the day, the quiet, close details, and everything in-between. Capturing love stories is an honor - thankful would be an understatement. When I’m not behind a camera, I am most likely spending time with family, traveling, walking too fast, or have my nose in a book.

I'm a calming presence focused on capturing couples with a documentary approach and making sure you enjoy your day and stay present. I'm a certified professional photographer educated in portraiture, fashion, and editorial photography with nearly 13 years of experience. We're experienced in 35mm and 120 film photography and integrate it in everything we photograph - we're a little obsessed with film.

Kearsten is a dream wedding photographer. My husband and I had never done any kind of professional photoshoot together before she showed up the night of our rehearsal dinner. She immediately put us at ease and made us feel like we were just walking around with a friend. She blended in so well that we quickly forgot that she was even there! I wanted photos that felt like they captured real moments as they happened instead of a ton of portraits and posed photos. Kearsten captured this vibe perfectly and produced better photos than I could have ever imagined. To top it all off, she turned our entire rehearsal dinner and wedding albums around in 4 weeks. If you want natural, documentary style, beautiful film photos, Kearsten is your girl.

We hired Kearsten as our wedding photographer, and it was hands-down one of the best decisions we made. From our very first email coordination, she made us feel completely at ease and truly understood the vision we had for our day. Her calming presence and natural ability to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera made such a difference—not just for us, but for our entire wedding experience. We were especially excited to choose a package that included an engagement session a few months before the wedding. It gave us the perfect opportunity to get to know her and feel even more confident going into our big day. By the time the wedding rolled around, it felt like having a friend behind the lens. Kearsten (and her amazing second shooter—shoutout to Hayden!) captured every moment beautifully from start to finish. Somehow, they documented the entire day without ever making us feel like we were constantly posing for photos. We can't say enough good things about our experience with Kearsten as our photographer! Throughout the planning process she was incredibly helpful and responsive with all questions we had about our big day. Her professionalism and calmness on the big day was invaluable to us as we navigated a little timeline chaos at the beginning of the day. She provided our wedding gallery so much sooner than I anticipated which was amazing - and she captured our day perfectly. She caught every detail and every emotion: from anticipation, excitement, happy tears, to the party! I don't know how she managed to be everywhere all at once!
