One thing I do wish we had done—and something I highly recommend to any future bride and groom—is taking the engagement photo shoot. We booked Tay about five or six months before our wedding but had already done an engagement shoot with a friend, so we kept putting it off until it never happened. Looking back, I realize how valuable that experience would’ve been. It would’ve helped us prepare better for the family photo sessions and be more conscious of certain poses, like during our first kiss. While our photos are still breathtaking, I believe the engagement shoot would’ve given us that extra edge of confidence and familiarity, which is one of its biggest benefits.”

She created a timeline for the day and any thoughts I had she took them into account and found a way to incorporate them into the plan. She showed up with a smile on her face and seamlessly cued the bridesmaids and myself throughout. She was present but didn’t hover it was the perfect balance.
