I hope you enjoy watching some of my latest weddings; but, if you continue reading instead, these next few chunks of words are intended to shed some light into who I am as a person and a filmmaker. To be clear, chunks of words can also be known as “paragraphs”. Paragraphs typically consist of five sentences and they are extremely difficult to write if they are about one’s self.

I used to produce and plan tens of weddings in downtown West Palm at a 4-5 star venue. During covid-19 I developed my videography skills alongside fitness influencers and branding and brought my new skillset into the wedding industry and have shot my handful of weddings. A little about me: I am a Tampa Bay grown, soflo living videographer, a master's student in mental health, hold a BA in media from PBAU, and surf in my free time. I love God, people, family and friends above all.

I had the privilege of entering the wedding scene as a videographer and video editor. I’ve always had a passion for telling stories. Weddings give me the perfect medium to tell the most spectacular and memorable stories of all. I’ve owned my company for over a decade and I’ve loved every minute of it. Love stories are such a wonderful thing to film and I have never felt more honored than when a couple trusts me to capture their big day. My wife and I got married among the giants of Sequoia and King's Canyon National Park in October of 2019. I feel, now, that I can fully understand the breadth of emotions a couple goes through on their wedding day, and I am humbled to know I am near such experiences every time I film a wedding.

Hi! I'm Jessica, a visual storyteller, cinematographer, and world traveler. I founded Tread Brightly Media in 2016 on the principle of "leave people better than you found them." :) We serve couples who love to have fun, live in the moment, and are unapologetically themselves. When we film your wedding, we encourage you to fully experience your day, while we take care of capturing the details you'll want to relive again and again.

We started dating in high school + fell in love. We unknowingly signed up to attend the same college at the same time with the same major: Video Production. ​ Fast forward 4 years of walking to class in the snow + many wedding video creations + 2 Disney World video internships + a COVID-19 wedding ... we now live in the bright Orlando, Florida and are thrilled to be doing videography fulltime (!!!!) OUR KIND OF PEOPLE: Unafraid of adventure AKA dancing through a field in your wedding dress.

I absolutely LOVE what I do! How could I not love being around people celebrating the happiest day of their lives?! I went to school at the University of Florida where I studied telecommunications and worked at the school's news station. Once I graduated I realized the news life was not for me but that I could take all of the things I learned in the news room and apply them in a setting I was passionate about - weddings! I met my husband while attending the University of Florida and we were married in April 2014! We are now the proud parents of our two fur babies and our newest addition, our first baby girl, Henley!
