The Kimpton Pittman Hotel

5.0

Dallas, TX
  • Up to 230 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $10,000

When it comes time to plan your event, let us accommodate you. We’ve been a Dallas destination since 1916, when architect William Sidney Pittman’s original building housed the historic Knights of Pythias Temple. Today, we've put our own floor plan-building magic to work, resulting in a modern spread of 5,000-square-feet event venues. And there’s plenty of room to spread out: from our grand ballroom to our light-filled boardroom and outside to our spacious pool deck. Whether you’re looking to host receptions, conferences, banquet seating or custom configurations, The Kimpton Pittman Hotel can help fine tune your event.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Allows pets
  • Has a dance floor for celebration
  • Exudes style

Venue considerations

  • Venue feels large for events with small guest lists
  • Not for you if you are drawn to more unconventional venues
  • No free parking
We loved the Pittman Kimpton as a wedding ceremony and reception space. Our guests raved about the quality of food and their experience in the hotel. The space was gorgeous and the answer was somehow always "yes" when we made requests. We had a little trouble upfront with the billing process and understanding the process of planning with them but the coordinator was always responsive to emails. We would absolutely recommend it to other couples.

My daughter and I wanted a single place close to her wedding venue where wedding guests could stay and we could have the rehearsal dinner. Hotel Indigo was the perfect spot! We were able to use an off-site caterer for the dinner, and the personnel at the Indigo graciously provided the room and all necessities including a limited bar. The room setup occurred seamlessly while we were at the wedding rehearsal, and the guests had a wonderful time. Everyone was delighted with their rooms and the breakfast and bar service in the lobby. The front desk, housekeeping, and valet staff were awesome, providing a sense of humor during a stressful time. Thanks to the event staff (particularly Dawn Freeman and her associates) at the Hotel Indigo for giving us this memorable experience. We definitely recommend the Hotel!!

Why Dallas Is Perfect for Your Wedding Celebration

Dallas brings together genuine Southern hospitality with sophisticated big-city elements across its wedding venue landscape. You'll find spaces that can handle cultural celebrations with 700+ guests just as easily as intimate gatherings under 80 people. Many Dallas venues feature those dramatic floor-to-ceiling windows that showcase the skyline views everyone loves, historic touches like exposed brick, and smart indoor-outdoor transitions for when Texas weather gets unpredictable. October is hands-down the most popular month to tie the knot here.

What Types of Wedding Venues Can You Find in Dallas?

Dallas offers distinct venue styles that match any wedding vision you might have. The Dallas Woman's Forum at Alexander Mansion shows off elegant period details that history lovers appreciate. Garden enthusiasts gravitate toward the Dallas Arboretum with its botanical backdrops and multiple ceremony spots. HALL Arts Hotel integrates art-focused design with those stunning floor-to-ceiling windows for a modern urban feel. Places like Brake & Clutch Warehouse and Pegasus City Brewery deliver industrial charm with craft beer experiences your guests will remember.

How Much Do Dallas Wedding Venues Cost?

Understanding what you'll pay helps tremendously with budget planning. Dallas wedding costs scale based on guest count - a 50-person wedding averages $20,966 while a 300-person celebration runs about $83,348. Venue costs typically range from $6,700 to $8,200, taking up roughly 16% of your total budget. That's actually lower than the national benchmark of $6,500-$12,000 which typically eats up 25% of total costs. You're getting good value in Dallas.
