“I was looking for a rental that was unique and our cabin stay at Artemis Ranch was our best stay in Texas! From the moment you drive in, you’re transported to an African safari. The ranch is massive. We took a 2 hour tour and got to see many exotic animals roaming around free. My boys were in awe of the zebras, the rino and the giraffes, who they got to feed. The cabin was equipped with everything you need including a pool, hot tub and fire pit for snores. My personal favorite was the many little personal touches to make your stay feel special like snacks for the kids and breakfast items. We received VIP hospitality from Ty and Bill which elevated our stay. My sons want to go back for summer break since we didn’t have time to fish. If you’re looking for a unique experience full of excitement, stay here. You’ll have a hard time deciding which activity to do because there is so much and they are all so much fun!”

“I got married here on Monday, March 9, 2026! When we first got engaged, we did not know if we could ever afford a wedding. And after months of searching, we found Arrowwood! Arrowwood made everything affordable and by laying out all the pricing for us; it put us at ease about our decision. No hidden fees and no stress! We had the wedding of our dreams!! Even though it was a weekday wedding, they still treated us like it was still the weekend! Our coordinator, Hannah, was by far the best person to have ever coordinated our wedding!! She was 100% worth it and made us feel like royalty on our day. She stayed on top of everything, and even when my veil flew off, she swept in and handled it. I did not have to worry about a single thing; she definitely handled everything, and I did not know what went wrong until way later! For example, our mirrored seating chart broke and shattered everywhere during the ceremony, but she still managed to hang it up by using another mirror in the decor package we added on! I also highly recommend the decor package! She was amazing, and we have been glowing about her to everyone! If you're on the fence about getting the coordination, I highly recommend doing it through Arrowwood! We have nothing but positive things to say about Arrowwood, and I have recommended this venue! This venue gave me the twilight-inspired wedding of my dreams! I can't stop thinking about it!!”

“We had the absolute best experience with The Springs in Waxahachie! We used the venue for the linens, DJ, coordinator, catering and the bar. It made it so easy to have all of the contacts through one business instead of multiple. For catering, we had the Italian buffet, and everyone was raving about our food. We had Lindsay and Amanda as our wedding coordinators. Lindsay worked with us throughout the planning process and was there at the beginning of our wedding day. She was incredibly organized, responsive, and made everything feel so manageable leading up to the big day. Amanda took over toward the end of the night and handled our send-off flawlessly. Both of them were amazing, so helpful, and truly made the entire day and night feel effortless for Trevor and I. Thanks to them, we were able to fully relax and enjoy every moment. They handled any issues without Trevor and I even knowing until after we got back from our honeymoon! We can’t recommend this venue and especially Lindsay and Amanda enough!”

“Pecan Creek Farm was a great choice for our wedding venue. The main form of communication with the venue was through email, which worked well overall, though we did find it a bit hard to get responses sometimes. However, the quality of their work and the beauty of the venue itself were fantastic. Hannah, the venue owner, checked in on us many times throughout the day to ensure everything was going smoothly. The only minor issues we had were some leftover trash from the previous event by the altar, and a couple times the water heater in the bridal cottage sprayed water at us. But overall, we absolutely loved this venue and would highly recommend it to other couples!”

“We have only positive things to say about the Pines of Alvarado. There was ample parking. With the gazebo, two pergolas and multiple blooming plants, the approach to the building was very attractive. It was 99 degrees when we arrived at the venue, but the room was cool and comfortable. The catering kitchen worked well (our caterer loved it) and included a freezer, which was really nice since we served ice cream for our groom's treat. The kitchen also worked very well as our bar, with a convenient place to put a large frozen margarita machine. We loved having the ability to provide our own alcohol and appreciated the Pines providing the (required) security officers. We did put one row of pipe and drape up so bar goers didn't see the catering work going on behind the drape. The room was large enough to seat 130 guests for a dinner buffet - with adequate space to move about. There was also room for multiple "specialty" tables and a dance floor. There are giant barn doors that were perfect for entrance of the wedding party, as well as for the sparkler send off. A large window at the far end of the building let in ample natural lighting. The building was spotless every time we were there and they had ample tables, chairs, and cloths to meet our needs. The building is rustic in design, but became really pretty with minimal decorations - especially once the strings lights were turned on. Kylie was great to work with. She was flexible, responsive and attentive. Her knowledge and suggestions (when solicited) were invaluable. We are so glad we found the Pines of Alvarado. It was definitely worth the short drive from the metroplex.”

“Absolutely loved this place and 100% glad we had our wedding here. The grounds hands down; peaceful, quiet, breath taking. As a bride the long walk to the outdoor alter makes your pictures and videos that much better! The bar company they provide were very nice and quick. The general manager Montana who we dealt with 90% of the time was beyond amazing and made our wedding experience with the venue seamless! She was so patient (we took many months to decide and she never kept bugging us!), extremely helpful, very quick to respond, and helped us so much with random things. Our only negative we would say or headache for us was just the long drive, but that's tolerable. :)”

About wedding venues in Corsicana, TX

Why Is Texas an Exceptional Wedding Destination?

Texas offers an incredible variety of wedding settings across its diverse landscapes. You'll find everything from romantic Hill Country vineyards to stunning Gulf Coast waterfronts that provide perfect backdrops for your special day. The state is home to countless venues that showcase authentic Texas character while still matching your personal style. Think rustic barns where longhorn cattle graze nearby or sophisticated urban venues with dramatic city skyline views that'll impress your guests. Many Texas venues incorporate unique regional touches you won't find elsewhere; live country music that gets everyone dancing, mouthwatering BBQ stations and custom boot favors that celebrate local heritage. Whether you're planning an intimate gathering or a grand celebration, you'll find Texas venues ready to accommodate your vision.

What's the Average Cost of Wedding Venues in Texas?

Wedding venues in Texas typically cost between $3,000 and $30,000+ depending on what you're looking for. The national average runs about $6,500-$12,000 which represents roughly 25% of your total wedding budget. Your overall wedding costs will depend largely on how many people you're inviting to share your special day:

Guest CountAverage Total Wedding Budget
50 guests$19,410
100 guests$32,365
150 guests$44,545
200 guests$55,433
250 guests$66,322
300 guests$77,211
In Texas specifically, venues typically account for about 16% of your total wedding budget with couples spending an average of $6,932. This gives you plenty of room in your budget to customize other elements of your celebration that matter most to you and your partner.

Which Wedding Venue Types Are Most Popular in Texas?

Texas venues offer distinctly regional experiences that capture the state's diverse character. Hill Country locations around Fredericksburg give you gorgeous vineyard settings with beautiful limestone architecture and sunset views that will take your breath away. If you're considering Houston, you'll find venues that thoughtfully incorporate bayou landscapes alongside sophisticated cosmopolitan amenities. Dallas spaces tend to showcase luxury urban environments with elegant design elements that create a refined atmosphere. Fort Worth venues perfectly blend Western heritage with modern conveniences for a uniquely Texan experience. November emerges as the most popular month for venue inquiries across the state, so you might want to plan accordingly if you're interested in this popular time frame.

How Far in Advance Should You Book Your Texas Venue?

Texas couples typically book their wedding venues about 16 months (or 457 days) before their wedding date. November stands out as the most popular month for venue inquiries so planning early is essential if you're considering this timeframe. This advanced booking timeline helps you secure your preferred date since popular venues often fill their calendars far in advance especially for prime weekend dates. Booking early also allows you to lock in current pricing before annual increases that many venues implement. Plus you'll have more time to work with venue coordinators to customize floor plans and discuss details that will make your celebration uniquely yours.

Where Can You Find Accessible Wedding Venues in Texas?

Madera Estates in Conroe stands out for its commitment to accessibility with fully paved event spaces that accommodate wheelchair navigation throughout the property. You can host up to 330 guests here and the venue is frequently praised for physically walking through accessibility needs during the planning process. You'll also find excellent accessible options at Jennings Trace near Houston which offers single-level celebration spaces. Hummingbird Hill Weddings in Chappell Hill prioritizes inclusive design throughout their venue and The Preserve at Canyon Lake features wheelchair-friendly pathways connecting all major celebration areas. These venues ensure all your guests can fully participate in your special day regardless of mobility considerations.

Which Texas Wedding Venues Offer Outstanding Culinary Experiences?

The Bell Tower on 34th in Houston delivers exceptional dining experiences under Executive Chef Sergio Arellano. His international culinary team creates gourmet meals on-site that will impress even your most food-savvy guests. Food-focused couples should also consider Steiner Ranch Steakhouse in Austin where you'll enjoy spectacular views alongside premium cuts of Texas beef. Cisco's Salsa Company near Tomball has built a reputation for their award-winning Mexican cuisine that adds authentic flavors to your celebration. Avenida Brazil Churrascaria Steakhouse in the Houston area offers a unique Brazilian steakhouse experience with tableside carving and a festival atmosphere your guests will remember long after the wedding day.

How Can Texas Venues Support Remote Wedding Participation?

For couples wanting to include loved ones who can't attend in person, several Texas venues now offer more than just basic streaming services. Venues like Agave Estates Mara Villa and The Middleton Venue in Katy specialize in creating interactive remote experiences that make distant guests feel truly present. You can work with these venues to design custom interactive elements that go beyond passive viewing. Think virtual guest books where remote attendees can leave video messages remote toasts synchronized with in-person celebrations and even coordinated dance moments. These thoughtful touches ensure everyone feels included in your celebration regardless of where they're located.

What Wedding Expenses Should You Budget for in Texas?

Beyond your venue there are several other key expenses to consider when planning a Texas wedding. For a typical 150-guest celebration your budget will likely break down this way: - Florists: $6,755 (15%) - Venue: $6,932 (16%) - Catering: $5,546 (12%) - Bar services: $4,437 (10%) - Photographers: $3,966 (9%) - Videographers: $3,555 (8%) - Planners: $3,768 (8%) - Bands & DJs: $1,299 (3%) - Cakes & desserts: $853 (2%) - Hair & makeup: $495 (1%)
