For over a century, Cairnwood has been hosting wedding receptions within its halls. The tradition began with John and Gertrude Pitcairn opening their home for a marriage celebration in 1896. Today, the Estate is available for sit-down dinners with 200 guests or an opulent stations-style event for up to 275. The graciousness of the Estate provides a setting that departs from the ordinary with endless indoor and outdoor possibilities. The distinguished architecture, terraces, grand staircase, balconies, and flowering gardens inspire couples to welcome guests into their own spacious mansion for a unique and memorable celebration.

Drumore Mill is a different world. It is nestled in a corner of the most rustic township in Amish Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The mill was built in 1752 as a sawmill and a grist mill. It sits in a hollow with 30 acres of tall cliffs and old trees to provide privacy, warmth, and natural beauties. There is a pristine creek that meanders through the property. The Fishing Creek supports native trout and other rare small fishes. The waterfall is adjacent to the buildings. There is a hiking trail within the property. There is wetland and much more. The combination of rustic setting, natural beauties, and historical features makes Drumore Mill amazingly beautiful. One has to see it to believe it.

If you are seeking an exquisite garden setting, you’ve arrived at the right place! There are 3 components to the rental of Appleford: you have the use of the inside of the estate, use of the tented terrace, and access to the gardens. Your wedding can take place both inside and outside of the house, with the seating for your reception taking place under the tented terrace overlooking the gardens. You and your guests are welcome to roam the gardens and take pictures in the alee of trees, boxwoods, rose garden, walled garden, and private medallion garden. A pond, small waterfall, and landscaped entrance in front of the home is the ideal setting for your on-site ceremony. Appleford works with 6 exclusive caterers and is BYOB. Clients are welcome to select a florist, photographer, videographer, and other vendors. Pomme is a woodland wedding venue on Philadelphia’s Main Line, conveniently located in Radnor near Routes 476 and 30. Tall trees, a meandering stream, pond and swans create a secluded natural setting for outdoor ceremonies, photographs and cocktails beneath the covered veranda. The light-filled reception space features reclaimed hardwood floors, raftered ceilings and distinctive wooden globe lights. Pomme accommodates weddings of up to 200 guests and offers an indoor ceremony option as well as outdoor ceremony spaces. Weddings at Pomme are catered by Peachtree Weddings. Menus are seasonal and customizable, with food prepared largely from scratch in our own kitchen. Morris Arboretum & Gardens gives you private access to 92 breathtaking acres situated in the historic Chestnut Hill section of Philadelphia. You have a choice of five charming ceremony sites, a delightful open-air cocktail hour, and tented dinner + dancing under the glow of café string lights in the tent. Our picturesque gardens are exclusively yours when for the festivities from 6-11pm with a max capacity of 175 (some restrictions apply at the max guest count). You have 3 hours with a golf cart + driver to escort you throughout the lush grounds for wedding photographs. Morris Arboretum offers 5 caterers for you to choose from (this is contracted separately, not included in our rental fee). Clothier of Wynnewood, a beautifully renovated venue with deep historical roots, once the home of prominent Philadelphia merchant Issac Clothier. Located on five stunning acres, the venue offers an expansive terrace, manicured landscaping, and a modern ballroom, combining timeless elegance with modern style. Featuring a stage, wedding suite/green room, and advanced lighting and sound systems, Clothier is an ideal location for religious, social, and community celebrations as well as certain corporate gatherings. The Willows is a historic hilltop wedding venue in Villanova on Philadelphia’s Main Line. Built in 1910, the Spanish Revival mansion sits within 49 acres of parkland with rolling hills, mature trees, trails and a picturesque pond. Outdoor ceremonies take place against the mansion’s distinctive curved stucco wall and fountain. Cocktail hour can move through the mansion and terraces, followed by dinner beneath a white tent on the hillside and dancing in the mansion’s light-filled solarium.
