“When I tell you that our wedding couldn't have gone any more perfect, I mean it! We started our planning with Violet, but she had to move to fulfill some awesome opportunities and we love that for her! From there we got Monique "Mo" who took our wedding and executed the planning beyond what we could have expected. On wedding day, there was torrential down pour and Mo kept me calm, collected, and confident. 15 minutes before our ceremony, the rain disappeared and the skies cleared for the rest of the night. The entire staff wiped off all of the chairs and squeegeed the ceremony area right in time for 4:00 pm start. It was AMAZING. Everything went so smooth, no detail was left unseen, and the staff were SO diligent on making sure everything was just right. Prior to me walking down the aisle, Darby was right by my side adjusting my veil that had fallen, making sure I reapplied lipstick, and got me safely and smoothly on my way. We later found her at the bar with Keely, and both of them held the energy for our guests' experiences with smiles on their faces and laughs to fill the halls. Not a dry mouth in sight. Towards the end of the night, Mo had to hand us off to Ryan our Captain, and we couldn't have been more pleased with how sweet and thoughtful he was. We are naturally used to cleaning up after ourselves and entertaining people, but Ryan stepped in and made sure that we focused on our wedding and not our natural actions. He also fixed the photo booth for us as I think we jammed it with too many pictures. From there he instilled that our stuff would be packed up and ready for us the next day. He carefully packed everything! I had some very fragile and sentimental items, and he made sure to take care of them. Our DJ Emily was epic from initial video call to wedding day. We had an open mic for people to speak, and it went on WAY longer than expected but she kept the crowd confident and really allowed the leniency in the change of planned time. We met our chef Christian at the food tasting but did not see him during our wedding and that's OK because we KNOW he was in that kitchen making sure that the food was top tier. We are 4 days out of the event date and people are STILL talking about the food. The feedback from our guests was that this is the ABSOLUTE BEST wedding they've ever been to and that that is heavy on emphasis because they have been to many weddings before. One person who I think is name Kirah (I hope I got this right so she gets recognized), she frequented our sweetheart table and made sure we were never hungry or thirsty. She was a little shy at first, but we hope Wedgewood keeps instilling her confidence because she will be a great asset long term once she finds her confidence. Her smile alone will ease anyone's nerves. We felt like royalty and felt valued by the entire staff at Wedgewood Briarhurst Manor. I know we are not the only couple that has had their event here, but we FEEL like we were. We wish that we could relive this night over and over again. Impeccable job! We can't wait to see this venue flourish!”
