Michelle truly went above and beyond just the day-of coordinating. She coordinated a couple intros zooms, got in touch with our venue and all of our vendors beforehand and brought us solutions when we realized we were going to be rained on. “We had never heard of a “day of coordinator” before our wedding. Initially we wondered if we needed one because we were planning a small and short, backyard wedding with less than 25 family members. Luna y Sol delivered that and more! They made our vision an absolute reality. In the weeks leading up to our big day, they got to know every last detail of our dream wedding, our vendors, decor, schedule, details, design, hopes, and dreams. They studied our timeline and helped us re-work it so that we could maximize our time spent with our guests. They helped set up and run our rehearsal dinner for us which was a big load off of us the day before our wedding! On the day of the wedding every detail was accounted for. We’ll never forget walking down the aisle and seeing our backyard for the first time with everything set up! We loved walking around and seeing all of the sweet touches Luna y Sol curated with our decorations and some of their own. Chris did the most beautiful calligraphy for our place cards and favors sign. Our parents and families were able to help us get ready without the stress and burden of setting up and running the show, too. From the moment we started planning, Ashley saved us both time and money in ways we didn’t even know were possible. “Desiree was our coordinator for our wedding this past June, and we would happily recommend her to anyone looking for a day-of wedding coordinator! Desiree made us feel comfortable and confident from our very first meeting with her via Zoom. She seemed knowledgeable about the wedding planning process and was also just super happy for us which made the year leading up to our wedding feel even more special. She was always responsive when we had questions and she absolutely KILLED it on the actual wedding day. She completely handled setup and even did our dinner tablescapes which turned out more beautiful than we could have imagined. We did have one hiccup where there was a miscommunication and Desiree ended up not making it to our venue walkthrough a few weeks before the wedding, but it turned out fine since she already had familiarity with our venue and because we were able to answer all of the venue's questions ourselves. Anyway, this is just a small portion of what we loved about working with Desiree, but it's safe to say we feel great about our choice of wedding coordinator and would definitely go with Desiree if we had to do it all over again.”

“We are so grateful for Kimberley and her incredible team- they were a huge part of what made our wedding day so special. While she wasn't technically our wedding planner (we chose to not hire one)- she absolutely filled that role and so much more, helping us create a personalized and unforgettable wedding night. From our very first call, Kimberley was warm, excited and genuinely interested in hearing our vision. Her experience in the event space was clear from the start. She helped us plan every detail- from celebratory champagne while getting ready, to beautiful florals (including my dream bouquet, which she made), coordinating all rentals through her vendors, and even picking up our wedding cake. After our Oregon coast ceremony, we had appetizers and a private chef dinner at our airbnb for our 14 guests- and the food experience was truly unforgettable. Kimberley's chef and sous chef, were incredible! The chef built a thoughtful, elegant menu that felt perfectly tailored to the setting and the occasion. Appetizers included fresh oysters, shrimp cocktail and ceviche- all beautifully prepared and displayed. Dinner was perfectly cooked steak, butter garlic mashed potatoes, tender asparagus and scallops, paired with a curated selection of local OR wines. Every dish was crafted with care and brought a sense of luxury and warmth to the evening. The chef and sous chef not only prepared everything to perfection but were also professional, friendly and seamlessly integrated into the flow of the night. The tablescape that Kimberley created was another unforgettable highlight- elegant, timeless and even more beautiful than what we imagined. It brought everything together in the most stunning way. Communication throughout the planning process was consistent and reassuring, especially because we live in Colorado and the wedding weekend took place in Oregon. Kimberley regularly checked in to make sure every detail aligned with our vision and because of her thoroughness and care, we felt completely at ease leading into the big weekend. On the day of, her team executed everything with precision and heart. They were warm, attentive, and brought such a calm, grounding energy to the space. Everything was timed perfectly and we were free to enjoy the experience of getting married without any stress. We truly can't thank Kimberley, Chef Michael, and the team enough! My husband and I, as well as our family and friends would absolutely recommend this team for any event. They created a wedding night that was intimate, elegant and deeply personal - a celebration we'll never forget!”

Their communication style was exceptional - they were always responsive and went above and beyond to ensure our vision was brought to life. The quality of their work and the value they provided was more beautiful than we ever could have imagined. They did so much more than what was required, like replacing our lost top layer of cake, and our reception was absolutely stunning as a result. We couldn't have asked for better wedding planners, and we are so grateful to Firefly Events Colorado for making our special day truly unforgettable.
