Lovely Lane—while serving an active congregation—has hosted public groups for decades at our mid-Baltimore heritage site location. Yet, our space had limitations until recently. Hello! We are Ben and Annie Judd, the owners/operators of Heron's Hollow. We have 25 years of Air Force service between us and are also parents to two little boys. Our #1 priority at Heron's Hollow is making sure you are relaxed and truly enjoy your wedding weekend. We only host 10 weddings a year, since we give you the whole 31 acres for an entire weekend, as well as provide 5-star overnight accommodations for 30 people. You can leisurely set up your wedding exactly the way you want it. Have your rehearsal on site the night before, sleep on property, and have no worries about traveling to your wedding! We provide tables, chairs, arches, greenery walls, luxury trailer bathrooms, handmade wooden bars, wood rounds, ball jars, and so many more accessories! Weddings at ‪Blue Pit BBQ‬ are a party: fun and easy! We provide excellent food, drinks, and staff. Whatever you need, we handle. Our space is unique, rustic, and versatile, including a bar area, upstairs, and outdoor patio. Our focused cuisine means that it is perfected and tasty. Weddings come with a full buffet that includes all our meats, sides, cornbread and slider buns, and our vegan jackfruit. We refill the buffet as needed, and pack up any leftovers. Plus, open bar! We greet guests with welcome cocktails and offer a wide variety of beer, wine, spirits, cocktails and at least 70 different whiskeys. We help with planning, desserts and have our own photo booth for you to use. We try to provide everything you need so all you have to do is show up and have fun! It's your party, you should enjoy it.

Outside the doors of the reception rooms is a large brick patio and pollinator garden, just right for cocktail hour. At the edge of the woods is a huge Maple tree and a waterfall where most of our couples choose to have their wedding ceremony. Well Wishes Farm is a barn venue offering 2 full days of use with each rental. The air-conditioned farmhouse, built in 1855, is included and has separate spaces for the bridal party and groomsmen to get ready. The barn is not climate controlled, but fans, open doors, and a breeze are utilized in summer months and portable heaters in cooler months. Rental of the venue is a flat fee and includes taxes, use of chairs, 5' round tables, 8' rectangular tables, cocktail tables, whiskey barrels, patio heaters, bars, refrigerators/freezers, and a bronze arch. Well Wishes Farm, endeavors to allow couples to create the custom wedding of their dreams in a non-hurried fashion. We provide the backdrop, and couples achieve their vision with vendors of their own choosing. New for the 2025 season are 2 handicapped-accessible bathrooms that are steps from the barn.
