Working with Stephanie from Bloom Sonora was one of the absolute highlights of planning my wedding. From our very first interaction, she was warm, easy to talk to, and incredibly receptive to my ideas. I came to her with a vision, and not only did she bring it to life—she elevated it in ways I never even imagined. Her creativity and energy are unmatched, and you can tell she genuinely loves what she does. Stephanie was always prompt and professional, showing up on time and prepared, which helped the entire process run smoothly and gave me such peace of mind on the big day. She created stunning florals for every part of our wedding—**7 bouquets**, custom **pocket and lapel boutonnieres**, and gorgeous **centerpieces for all our tables**. Each arrangement was thoughtfully designed and perfectly coordinated to our color palette and theme. The florals tied everything together and made the entire space feel magical. What really stood out to me was how collaborative and communicative Stephanie was throughout the whole process. She took the time to understand what I wanted and offered ideas that aligned beautifully with my vision. Her passion, attention to detail, and artistic talent truly shine in her work. Sweet Lilacs

5.0

  • Serves Chinese Camp, CA

Our studio operates as a collaborative art studio where we discuss, confer, disagree, experiment and delight in our work. We love the challenge of working with new styles and colors, different venues, unique tastes and most of all, different combinations of florals and foliage. Every week is different for us. The unique styles and trends stretch our creativity. We love the challenge. For example, café au lait dahlias have a ninety degree angle that is challenging in a round bouquet. So many little nuances. All this matters to us. We learn and grow with every event. The little details make a huge difference.

WOW The flowers for our wedding were absolutely beautiful!!! I’m a very visual person so it was hard for me not knowing exactly what to expect on the big day, but during the consultation process Susan attached my inspiration pictures to an itemized bid which definitely helped. And let me tell you, the flowers were everything I wanted and more!!! Susan and her team are organized, easy to work with, and masterful! I would not hesitate to recommend their services to anyone! So grateful we hired them!

The flowers from Something Borrowed Blooms were, above all, gorgeous. They also cost a fraction of getting real flowers from a florist. (As in, several thousands of dollars less for something equally beautiful.) The flowers got many compliments and everyone was shocked they weren't real! The centerpiece and bouquets in the attached photos are from the Wren collection. The customer service at Something Borrowed Blooms is also highly responsive and helpful. Getting your wedding flowers from Something Borrowed Blooms is one of the best planning decisions you'll make: the blooms are high quality and easy to use, plus MUCH friendlier for your wallet and the environment.

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

4.9

  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Chinese Camp, CA

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
We used the “Full Monty” package for our wedding and DIY-ed all our florals. Our florist, Hattie, did a great job listening to our vision and responded to all of our questions quickly! We explored options together, and she was able to help us get so much more than we would have with a florist and with the exact color palette we were looking at. Neither of us are great at design/DIY, but we felt very supported by the plethora of tutorials, recipes, and videos to create our flowers. With our florals, we made 6 pillar arrangements, 2 bridal bouquets, 8 bridesmaid bouquets, 3 corsages, a boutonniere, 2 medium centerpieces, and close to 100 bud vases. My maid of honor made my bridal bouquet, which made it even more special than it would have if a florist had made it. The flowers arrived at our AirBnb without any issues, and we lost barely any florals! I will say if DIY-ing flowers, whether with Flower Moxie or not, make sure you have people to help - especially with getting the florals out of the wrapping, in buckets, and cutting stems. We had our crews help, and it still looked overwhelming at first, so I can see how it can be stressful. We had our day-of-coordinator set everything up florals-wise on our wedding day, and everything looked GORGEOUS. If you have the people to help and are looking for more florals for less money, we would definitely recommend DIY-ing with flower moxie

The Faux Bouquets

5.0

  • Starts at $175
  • Serves Chinese Camp, CA

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

Awarded Best of Zola
I had the absolute best experience with The Faux Bouquets. The flowers were absolutely stunning for my wedding. The owner, Brittany, was so kind and even called me to make sure my wedding wouldn't be affected by Hurricane Helene. Thankfully, my area was not affected, but I just really felt that was a special kindness that needs to be called out. But again, the quality of the bouquets, micro sprays and greenery was so great and photographed so well! And all at a fraction of the cost of real flowers that would have just been thrown away at the end of the night! The delivery and return process couldn't have been simpler! And I loved my husband and I got to customize and keep my bouquet and his boutonniere during a promotional add-on! Thank you again, Brittany and The Faux Bouquets, for helping make our wedding so beautiful!

The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!
