Hi flower friends! I've always loved working weddings and getting to be a part of a couples special day. I've always loved fresh flowers, my mom always had beautiful arrangements while I was grown up and I've continued the tradition. In 2022 I decided to start my own business as an event planner. While developing my business and participating in events and styled shoots, I started to realize my passion for flowers and design. I started experimenting and taking classes to help me enhance my knowledge. I love working with brides to make their flower dreams come true!

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

Hi, I am Lal Moya and I was born in Myanmar. I love to work in creative fields and have spent years in corporate event planning and advertising. I started Lal Moya Weddings & Events in 2019 because I wanted to create a more personal event for my clients. I have absolutely loved working with couples on one of the most important days of their lives. From weddings with 50 guests to over 350 in churches, hotels, and the great outdoors, I've done them all.

Pick a Bloom was founded on love and laughter in small-town Surry, Virginia by us, a mother daughter duo, who wanted to see our vision of fresh flower alternatives bloom to life. We work primarily with 100% REAL preserved and dried flowers and foliage.

In 2016, I started looking for creative alternatives to fresh flowers. I saw an advertisement for WOOD flower arrangements and was intrigued. I quickly ordered a centerpiece and when it arrived, I was so amazed by the product that I took the flowers apart to see how they were made. It was fascinating to me that someone would think to use the wood from a plant to make flowers. Fast forward a couple months and I started ordering raw undyed flowers, dove in headfirst, and fell in love! By using WOOD flowers, we are able to custom dye & arrange them to give a bride more versatility. I am so honored to be a small part of a bride’s special day!
