The Rotunda a historic masterpiece in downtown Waukesha and has quickly become a number one wedding destination in Waukesha. The Rotunda has recently undergone some renovations to offer the client a most beautiful venue at an affordable price. Just one of the many perks is that you are allowed to bring in your own caterers or cuisine. You’ll enjoy complementary chairs and tables, colored up lighting and other perks that come with your. The Ellwood House Museum is an historic estate that offers three unique rental spaces on ten acres of gardens and grounds. These include the first floor and terraces of elegant Ellcourt, an historic Tudar Revival house built in 1899. It is available from March through mid-November and is our only venue where alcohol service is permissible. Ellcourt has an hourly rate of $350. The grounds also offer a choice of three garden spaces for wedding ceremonies. Garden rentals are available mid-May to mid-October and include an inclement weather backup location in the Hearthside Room of the Visitor Center. The rental rate is a flat fee of $500. The third venue is our more casual space, the Hearthside Room, which includes access to the galleries. It is available March through mid-November, and the rental rate is $75 per hour. All venues are limited to 80 people, and both indoor venues have full kitchens.

The outdoor deck overlooking the urban ravine and is a beautiful spot for a summer wedding. The deck has 600 sq feet of space. This intimate space is very versatile for day or evening events.

Situated on a picturesque 17.5 acre site overlooking Lake Michigan, Kemper Center is a vibrant cultural and historical complex. Kemper offers a chapel for indoor ceremonies and a gazebo and lakefront options for outdoors. There are five diverse environments for your wedding reception, with both indoor and outdoor availabilities. Indoor capacity is 150 guests, and outdoor is 300 guests.

The DuPage County Historical Museum is housed in what was formerly known as the Adams Memorial Library. The building was erected by John Quincy Adams (a distant relative of the Adams presidents) in 1891 to serve as a library and community center for Wheaton in memory of his late wife, Marilla Phipps Adams. In 1967, the building opened as the DuPage County Historical Museum under the operation of the County of DuPage and DuPage County Historical Society. Today, the Museum is operated as a facility of the Wheaton Park District and owned by the County of DuPage. It is the only institution dedicated to the collection, preservation, interpretation, and exhibition of materials which document the history of DuPage County.
