About this venue

Located on Mt. Vernon Rd. SE in Cedar Rapids (10 minutes from downtown Cedar Rapids), our indoor and outdoor spaces are designed to hold events for up to 250 guests. Spacious grounds with open and wooded areas provide ample settings for photos. On-site catering and a staffed bar make it easy for you to get exactly what you want for food and drink. Our dedicated staff is present to make the process smooth and simple, and we’re so excited to help you celebrate!

The Perfect Space For Your Perfect Day

Rosedale Park Event Center offers a beautiful gazebo with rows of chair seating or an open field adjacent to the gazebo for you to say “I Do” at your wedding ceremony. If the weather doesn’t cooperate on your wedding day, Rosedale park also has a covered pavilion as a backup plan in the case of light rain or wet ground, as well as an indoor ceremony area if the weather takes a severe turn. Our outdoor bridal cottage provides a space for getting ready and waiting for your grand entrance.

Description

Exclusive use of entire property includes outdoor gazebo, covered pavilion and private park with outdoor restrooms and a bar, indoor reception space, bridal cottage, and bridal lounge. Catering and alcohol services also provided onsite by in house catering company. Rental includes all tables, chairs, in house linens, in house table decor, full service cash bar, china service, light lunch for wedding party, non alcoholic beverage station, and set up and tear down of everything provided in house.

    I can't say enough good things about Rosedale. Firstly, the venue is stunningly beautiful. It really needs no "dressing-up". Secondly, Jen is so nice and so helpful. Not only did she answer all my silly questions but did so promptly and with a smile. Working with this venue was such a breeze it felt odd not to have to worry about so many things. We chose to go with the all inclusive package which meant we had access to the whole venue from getting ready to our outdoor photos, ceremony in the beautiful gazebo, and the reception hall. Lastly, the catering is fantastic. We attended multiple tastings and loved everything they served. We ultimately went with the classic menu simply because it fit into our budget the best. If we had more room in the budget, we would have gone with a custom menu because we tasted so many delicious offerings that were not on a set menu. I would highly recommend this venue and catering company.
