Tara Creek
Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
Faison, NC
  • Up to 500 guests
  • Select services
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $2,500

Tara Creek has many different areas for your ceremony, cocktail hour, reception and even rehearsal dinner. We have enough spots (indoor, outdoor, and partial) for everything to be in a different location if desired! We can make your event walk-in ready or you can set up yourself and we will simply assist during your event. Our packages are buildable and we pride ourselves in personalizing every celebration to fit your needs! Fun fact about us is that we began as a working farm originally but now only partially. We now hold weddings, corporate events, rodeos, concerts and even sell Christmas Trees at Thanksgiving! Everyone says the pictures doesn’t do it justice as soon as they walk in which is a huge compliment! It’s usually the other way around and photos are deceptive! We hope to meet you and be a part of one of the most important days of you and your loved ones life!

Why you'll love this venue

  • Has a dance floor to dance the night away
  • Multiple event spaces
  • Has a warm and cozy vibe

Venue considerations

  • Not for you if you prefer a more modern aesthetic
  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • Best for events with big guest lists
“My husband and I have the unique privilege of being the very first bride and groom at Tara Creek. Even at the very beginning, the Grahams responded quickly to every question and request, and truly listened to what we wanted for our day, giving us freedom to bring our vision to life. Since then, the venue has transformed—they've added a bridal suite, a groom's retreat, a stunning patio for social hour, and new ceremony spaces—but what makes us happiest is that the twinkly lights we hung to dance under as newlyweds are still there today, creating magic for couple after couple. Lee and Amanda's commitment to their couples goes beyond just providing a space; they work hard to meet every need and dream their couples bring. Six years later, I love to watch couple after couple commit their lives to one another with the special team at Tara Creek. We couldn't recommend them more highly!”

Rachel was very kind and helpful leading up to the wedding and I loved that all the tables and chairs were set up and taken down for us so all we had to do was decorate. The staff was great, they helped keep everything running smoothly and were prepared with a rain plan and everything. “Having our wedding at Donovan Manor absolutely made our day what it was! I know people can be wary of venues requiring in house catering and bar, but let me sway you otherwise! First off, Donovan’s Dish was amazing and easy to work with. Ashley allowed me to amend my menu as many times as necessary in the early stages and Emma was so easy to communicate with. On wedding day, our food was not only amazing but the staff were excellent and efficient. Even down to the little details, like a staff member folding and placing napkins on guests chairs as they got up to get their food. All these little details helped our wedding feel elegant and personal. THE BAR! I cannot say enough good things about the bartenders at Donovan Manor. They were so kind, funny, and made great drinks. All of our guests complimented the staff. Ok onto the venue. It is so beautiful and truly a one of a kind venue. Many venues skimp on the grooms suite and this was a huge plus for me. Often I feel the groom gets forgotten about, so I loved to see how much effort was put into the suite. Even my now-husband commented on how nice it was to have such a large space. The bridal suite (really entire floor) is exceptional. I truly felt like a princess getting ready up there. The outdoor rose garden is stunning and the oak tree makes for wonderful photos. Having three bars is also a game changer, especially if you have a larger guest count. Everything was thought of while building the venue, even the bathrooms are gorgeous! All of guests have complimented the weekend saying how perfect it was and how amazing the venue is. Book Donovan Manor! You will have zero regrets.”
