The grounds are simply breathtaking, with lush greenery, towering trees, and the most magical, fairytale-like setting. We couldn't have imagined a more perfect backdrop for our special day. As someone who wanted to do their own flowers, appetizers, and desserts, Starlight meadows was super flexible with our DIY elements! It's like having a wedding planner and venue in one because of their clear, professional, and genuine communication, thoughtful style session, and recommended vendor list. Starlight Meadows is truly in the business of love, even going so far as to get a tap truck ready for our wedding, showcasing their attention to detail and care for the guest experience.

The team at the Old Alcohol Plant Inn was an absolute joy to work with for our wedding. From the moment we first connected with Bethany, her communication was professional, super responsive, and incredibly helpful in making sure every detail of our special day was exactly as we envisioned. The venue itself is a secret beauty, with beautiful water views, gorgeous gardens, and a historic, charming atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the garden to table food prepared by Chef Troy was absolutely delicious. We asked the owner Gary to give a short talk about the history of the property and its mission to support local housing - it added such meaningful context to the experience. The entire staff took wonderful care of us and our guests throughout the wedding, ensuring everything ran seamlessly. We are so grateful to the team at the Old Alcohol Plant Inn for helping make our wedding day a true dream come true.

We just finished up our wedding at Misty River Ranch and had such a magical time. Even though we ended up having a major downpour everything still felt so special being out there. The owners are so kind and everyone you pass on the property also makes you feel so welcome. Hearing the horses whinny during our ceremony was the icing on the cake, really brought the whole thing together. I highly recommend booking with them, they are so easy to work with and you can’t beat the extra days you get to set up and clean up.

The View not only met our expectations for a wedding venue, but exceeded them. Having so many family member travel from all over the country, we wanted a venue that showcased just how beautiful our home state is which made The View the perfect fit. It has the absolute most beautiful mountain and evergreen backdrop of any of the venues we had looked at, making the whole experience feel infinitely more special. On top of just how gorgeous it is, I can't say enough about how amazing the owners are. At times, I felt so lost and overwhelmed in the wedding planning process as there is so much to consider and coordinate. Not only are the owners super welcoming and accommodating but they have a wedding planning background which helped immensely when it came to making careful decisions and making the whole vision come together. I cant recommend this venue enough as it was hands down the best decision we made when planning our special day!

My partner and I got married in September 2024 at Rivers Edge. We selected this location because we wanted an outdoor wedding and the grounds and river were a perfect space for us. The accommodations of the slab, tent, tables, chairs, and lights were all integral to our wedding being a success. Tanya is a down to Earth person and we are as well, so that worked very well for us. Tanya was always responsive and accommodating. All of our guests commented on the beauty of the grounds and the space. Everything was easy to manage and clean up. I can't recommend enough if you want a nice, chill wedding or event with beautiful nature surrounding you with creature comforts like the get-ready rooms, slab tent, and generator for power. Also close enough to town/stores in case you forgot anything you needed!

Have your wedding here! If you like the water, the outdoors, the beach, chill people and avoiding the wedding industrial complex, this is the place for you. We looked at so many venues, and none came close to this place. Guemes Island is easily accessible with a short ferry ride, yet you feel far away from the city. It's surrounded by woods and right on the beach! The resort has a bunch of cabins that are all included in the rental. Our friends and family stayed the whole weekend. There are plenty of Airbnb's on the island if you have more people than they can hold. They were super helpful every step of the way. The staff are all so nice and clearly care about the place they are working at. It's also owned by locals, which is awesome. We spent months looking at venues, toured a bunch of them, and none had what we were looking for. Or their fee just to rent their ballroom for the afternoon was twice what you pay here for the entire resort all weekend! Your wedding is going to be awesome, why not enjoy it for multiple days? As soon as we arrived here, we knew this was the place. The staff was also super easy to work with and very helpful with anything we needed. They truly went above and beyond. Not only do you get all the cabins included so 90 people can stay all weekend, they have a sauna, wood fired hot tub (3 cabins have their own hot tub too), and plenty of room to grill, eat, and party. We rented a huge tent to have the reception in. They also have great relationships with vendors who made the day amazing and flow smoothly. There is a store at the resort, and another one on the island if you need anything. Anacortes is also a very short ferry ride away. The ferry was not an issue, the ride takes 5 minutes and it sails often. If you're used to the chaos of the state ferries, don't worry here. Our wedding was incredible, and Guemes Island Resort was a huge part of making that happen.

The venue itself is absolutely beautiful - the spacious property and whimsical treehouses created such an enchanting atmosphere for our special day. We loved having the ability to decorate and lay out the venue exactly how we envisioned, and they was so accommodating throughout the entire process. Being able to stay in the treehouses with our bridal party for the whole weekend made the experience even more magical. I've hosted two all day workshops at Oddfellow's Hall, and I will definitely use the space again. It's stunning, historic, right in town, and right over the water. Folks on Orcas tend to be low stress and easy to work with, and the Oddfellows Hall crew is no exception. It's a large space with an easy to plug into sound system and versatile lighting. There's ample street parking, and it's a 1-2 minute walk from the heart of Eastsound. There's a little used public dock and beach a 30 second walk down the road. There's also a commercial kitchen downstairs you can rent and use. I've had only wonderful experiences with this venue, as a two time renter and as a guest at many events!

Immediately after our initial tour of Terra Valley Farms, my spouse and I knew that this venue was perfect for us! It has a charming and secluded feeling to the area, despite being a little over an hour from Seattle. What undoubtedly sold it for us were the services offered with all wedding packages. This included an array of decor available for the day; linen, tables, chairs, and set up/tear down included; and plenty of opportunities for planning and coordination meetings well in advance of the event. Tessa, the staff member we were in primary contact with was very responsive in the time leading up to our date and willing to answer all questions. She was helpful with the overarching prep details and planning related to the venue flow that allowed for a flawless wedding day! I did see that starting early 2025, the venue is increasing their prices - likely to remain competitive in this wedding market. Quite honestly, I think this venue would unfortunately be out of our budget due to this if we were looking right now. Knowing how perfect our special day was, however, if you can afford it, it was well worth the investment for a lower key, yet stunning wedding venue. By holding our October 2024 wedding at Marionfield, we not only had a gorgeous venue; we also had guidance, support, and tips every step of the way from John, Marionfield's wonderful owner. From our first visit, we could tell that John was invested in our wedding succeeding. He gave honest, thoughtful answers to our initial questions. Once we selected Marionfield, John gave helpful advice about layouts, useful pointers about timelines, stellar recommendations for other vendors, and transparent information about the venue and what does and doesn't work well there. John always responded quickly and thoroughly to emails. He was generous with his time, letting me visit once six months before the wedding and again three months beforehand for a walk through with my coordinator. John is warm, caring, and honest. When you book your wedding at Marionfield, you are also securing a dedicated teammate in your wedding planning journey. About the venue itself: Marionfield is gorgeous. The buildings, landscaping, walkways, and furnishings are all in tip-top condition. Marionfield gets the details right -- dimmable lights in the barn, ADA accessibility, comfortable chairs, the spacious bridal suite with a full kitchen. The location is private, secluded, and quiet. The historic barn offers a charming, romantic backdrop. You also get a team of helpful people on your wedding day who make flips of the space happen, see that the water stays full, and that your other vendors are where they need to be. The team worked seamlessly to make our wedding go off without a hitch. The high level of included services (staff who handle chair and table set-up, venue flips, most clean-up) and add-ons available for very reasonable fees (hot cider bar, flatware, plates, glass water goblets) at Marionfield means fewer moving parts and details to keep track of. I could go on and on with positive things about John Olson and Marionfield. My husband and I highly recommend selecting Marionfield for your wedding venue.
