Although I call Bellingham and the Pacific Northwest home now, I grew up on my family's farm in Michigan's rural Upper Peninsula, also known as 'the U.P.' At heart, I'm still and always will be a die-hard 'Yooper.' My dad, Chip, who is one of my biggest heroes, taught me how to grow, forage for, and arrange flowers around our farm while I was growing up. We used to make things together and sell them at the local farmers market on the weekends. So in some ways, I've been doing this work all my life. I started working in the floral industry in Bellingham before branching out on my own as Pozie by Natalie in 2015.

Welcome! I'm the designer/owner, farmer/florist, grower/accountant, and customer service team at Hazel Designs. I started my design business in Seattle 12 years ago and am now based in Bellingham, where I grow cut flowers and have access to amazing locally sourced blooms.

It started on a small vegetable farm outside of Seattle. A love of growing vegetables turned into trying my hand at growing flowers.
