Although I didn’t book her immediately due to a big move, I was lucky she was still available when I circled back a few months later. One of the things I loved most about working with Misha was how easy it was to communicate. I didn’t know the names of specific flowers, but I knew the 9 colors I wanted in the wedding —and Misha got it exactly right. When I saw my bouquet on the wedding day, I actually teared up. It was perfect. Every arrangement looked incredible. If I could, I’d have my whole house decorated in her flowers forever. It was everything I dreamed of. “We were so delighted to use The Faux Bouquets for our wedding. We ended up having a family emergency that forced us to downsize the size and budget of the wedding just a few months before the wedding, and the team at TFB were so accommodating and helped us to find a solution that still allowed us to use their flowers in our (modified) ceremony. We were a bit concerned about the flowers getting smushed in shipping, but they arrived looking absolutely STUNNING and with plenty of time before the big day. Even my gardener of a grandma couldn't tell they weren't real flowers! We were so happy with how everything looked on the day, and in pictures they look just as lovely. Can't recommend The Faux Bouquets enough! There's no visual difference compared to real bouquets and they are much more affordable. The last big selling point that I would advise future brides, and I did not really consider this, is that because the flowers don't wilt, we could set the decor out the night before--which is a LIFESAVER to not have to worry about on the special day! Anything that will save you time and stress on the day of the wedding is a big win!”

I love flowers, and I knew I wanted them to be a big part of our day, but it was also very important to me that I could source florals as sustainably as possible. As soon as I met Amanda, I could see her passion for creating beautiful designs with local blooms, and bringing visions to life. I could tell off the bat that she cares deeply about the couples she works with, and her thorough questions made me confident that she would execute my vision perfectly. Amanda had clear communication throughout our time working together and was quick to answer emails whenever I had a question. One thing I also loved was her invoicing system- she sent over one link to the invoice which would automatically update whenever we made changes. It’s a small detail, but it was incredibly helpful to know that I was always looking at the most updated version of our invoice (not digging through my emails and searching through multiple attachments) to keep track of costs. On the day, I nearly cried when I saw my bouquet it was so beautiful. Due to the weather, there was some back and forth figuring out where our ceremony would be held. Amanda worked with our coordinator and venue staff and came up with great solutions to repurpose the flowers for the outdoor ceremony site. I really appreciated her flexibility and ability to think on her feet to make the indoor space feel just as magical. Her work really elevated the room and gave the exact vibe that I was hoping for. So many of our guests raved and said they’d never seen flowers like ours at a wedding. I cannot recommend enough working with Amanda for your wedding. She really puts her heart and soul into her work, and feels like a friend through the planning process. If I had to do it again I’d choose her every time!!”

I grew up running around after my mom in her gardens and spent most of high school in the art department. I went off to design school and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. Soon after, I started my first “real” design job and have been working in the industry in either commercial or residential design ever since, giving me thirty-five years of design experience. A second related career in Floral Design was added to my skill set when I was employed as a part-time floral designer and trained at Longwood Gardens. I decorated twenty-one Christmas trees that year and did a lot of beautiful custom designs.

“One of the best decisions my husband and I made for our wedding was booking Pam to do our flowers. From the beginning she knew exactly what my vision was, and she checked in to share fun updates on her process as our day got closer, which I loved! She was flexible and transparent with creating designs within our budget. Our wedding day was in the middle of a heatwave and Pam created an incredible ceremony arch piece that looked amazing even after sitting in the beating sun for hours! She had a few tips for last minute tweaks to ensure her designs held up to the heat, and I was grateful for that. All of our flowers (bouquets, boutonnieres, centerpieces, table pieces) were just above and beyond gorgeous. Some of my favorite pieces were my flower girls’ flower crowns- we got so many compliments on how cute they were! There were so many little thoughtful details that Pam took care of: sending a bag of petals for my flower girls and a little towel to dry off all the bouquets. We did not have to worry about a single thing. My flowers were one of my favorite things about my wedding day- book Pam and yours will be too!”

“The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!”

“Elizabeth completely brought our wedding vision to life — even when we didn’t fully know what that vision was yet. From the very beginning, she helped guide us with such care and intention. She had us share inspiration photos, then thoughtfully sent examples back and checked in to make sure everything aligned with what we were imagining. She truly gets it. Her knowledge of flowers is incredible, and she taught us so much throughout the process. She listens deeply, asks the right questions, and somehow translates feelings and ideas into stunning florals. She was also refreshingly transparent about pricing — whenever something shifted or might cost more, she clearly explained it and made sure we were comfortable moving forward. Elizabeth was proactive, checking in regularly and never making us feel like we had to chase her down — which was such a gift while juggling a million wedding details. On top of all that, she is so personable, warm, and genuinely fun to talk to. We asked if she could create a bouquet bar, and she absolutely made it happen — it was one of the highlights of our entire wedding. “My husband and I decided to have an intimate micro-wedding with 12 other people in June of 2024, and organized just about everything ourselves, including the flowers. As part of the planning process, we sought out a preservation artist who could freeze this element of our wedding forever in time. I found Jackie of Evergreen Botanical Studio and her 3-D preservation style matched exactly what I was looking for, so we booked our date with her as soon as we could. She was the PERFECT choice. She took my crazy wild bouquet, my grandmother’s handkerchiefs that wrapped the stems, all the extra flowers from the arrangements, and even some delphinium from her own garden (because she's such an angel and took pity on me that mine didn’t quite survive), and created a work of art that takes me directly back to my wedding day and reminds me of all the amazingness that unfolded. AND she crafted the most wonderful little memento for my Mom, that was completed in time to gift for her 50th wedding anniversary, just months after our event. Jackie was so easy to work with, providing detailed instructions for packaging and shipping the flowers from the Midwest, eased my worry by confirming as soon as she received them, and gave a timeline and explanation of how the whole preservation process works. It seems like magic that the flowers in the finished product look just as they did on the day of our wedding. I LOVE how my bouquet and the other floral decor turned out - they were beautiful without looking overly styled and were very unique (especially compared to the standard wedding florals I've seen!). My passion for flowers and plants started when I was a child. Growing up in the middle of nowhere was the best thing to allow my imagination to flourish. The school day would end and I would be rushing off the bus to help my grandparents plant seedlings or pick the harvest from the garden. My parents had flower beds and brought the beautiful flowers inside to enjoy as well. I am passionate about being able to replicate flower gardens into a gorgeous design but also creating a unique design just for your day!
