“Every single part of our wedding and our stay at this hotel was incredible. Bay pointe inn staff pays great attention to detail, and even had a bottle of champagne and a sweet treat in our room waiting for us after our wedding. The lake front pavilion was absolutely gorgeous and the staff made the planning process easy and hassle free. Also highly recommend a Thursday wedding as we had the whole place to ourselves!!”

“We had a group gathering at Camp Greenwood and having the entire camp to ourselves was wonderful. It gave us plenty of room to be together without sharing the facilities with any other groups, and there was something for everyone to do. The cabins are clean and well maintained, and each has its own indoor toilet, sink, and shower. The dining hall is lovely, with a clean, certified kitchen where you can prepare your own meals or have food catered in. There is also plenty of room next to the dining hall to put up a big tent for an even larger gathering. The setting is magnificent. Camp Greenwood is on the private Woodbeck Lake, which is stocked for great fishing, and we could use the canoes and kayaks. There is a huge playground for the kids, a shelter with a stage, and a big field with lots of room for kids and adults to play or just enjoy being outdoors. Lots of forests and 2 spots for camp fires make the place super memorable. What makes Camp Greenwood special is being able to have everyone together in one place. People can eat together, play together, enjoy the lake, sit around the campfire, and then stay right there in the cabins, heading for bed whenever they needed to. It is a fantastic place for a family reunion, wedding weekend, or any gathering where you want more than just a few hours together. You don't just rent a room—you get the whole camp!”

“We held an intimate, outdoor wedding early in April at the Orchard Pond, and it could not have been more perfect. The staff was so amazing in taking care of so many details and helping us plan, and even managed to keep chairs dry for guests outdoors on a rainy Michigan day. They even worked with us a bit on the time to wait for the rain to clear and were so flexible! I also cannot say enough about how beautiful the setting is. I have attended larger weddings in the orchard on the hill, but beside the pond on the dock, with the lovely pine grove, the soft sounds of wind and the wildlife, and the rippling waves across the pond was truly the perfect spot for our intimate affair. The setting is beautiful and allowed our photographer to get many great photos from lots of different angles. The amazing staff also helped us plan our dream wedding in under a month and helped us stay on budget while still having a beautiful, unforgettable day. I truly cannot say enough about the Orchard. It truly is the perfect outdoor wedding venue!”

Nicole was so kind, understanding and kept us updated on all state requirements and restrictions as it got closer to our date. And, of course, the venue was absolutely breathtaking. “Listen, I'd love to grumble about the cost of the venue itself. But in all honesty, Boatwerks (and Hannah, the event manager) was 100% up front about costs. From the moment we first toured the space, the event manager Hannah was prompt in her communication and transparent about all costs. Hannah even shared a mock up quote the day we initially toured the venue - and it was spot on for the actual event. The truth? The venue was absolutely, without a doubt, 100% worth every cent we paid. We had the patio open all night, there was plenty of food, minimal waits at the bar - all things our guests are still raving about. The venue itself was beautiful, with a lovely waterfront view that provided a picturesque backdrop for our reception. And the food was delicious - our guests raved about the quality and presentation. While the venue cost was a bit higher than other Red Water event venues, it was absolutely worth it for the exceptional service and stunning location. Hannah and the Boatwerks team went above and beyond to ensure our special day was perfect in every way. We're so grateful we chose Boatwerks and would highly recommend them to any couple seeking a beautiful space to celebrate one of the best days of their lives.”
