“The Stone Mill 1792 was incredible. The staff were incredibly responsive, kind, helpful and attentive. We are in disbelief how easy our big day was. The venue is stunning for any event, big or small. Planning my wedding out of state was difficult already, but the staff at TSM were beyond amazing. A lot of venues in the area are VERY expensive for what you receive day of. At TSM, I feel that for the price, I received more than I could have expected. Expectations were exceeded and beyond, and I would recommend this location to anybody. One of my favorite parts of the venue is the reception area. I’ve been to weddings that are in barns or other older buildings. These locations are crammed, difficult to navigate, have awkward seating, and very limited views. At TSM, their reception area is huge and roomy. I loved that I could look out and see all of my friends and family without having a wooden beam in my way. There was enough space for guests to get food, dance, talk, and be comfortable in the space without stepping on toes and dresses.”

Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel
Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
Baltimore, MD
  • Up to 1500 guests
  • Select services
  • Indoor
  • Starts at $18,900

Welcome. At Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel you and your wedding guests are treated with world-class hospitality that transcends the expected and ordinary into the day you will never forget...

Why you'll love this venue

  • Offers convenient lodging options
  • Multiple event spaces
  • Has a glamorous vibe

Venue considerations

  • Limited cleanup and setup services
  • Lighting and sound are not included
  • No dedicated areas for getting ready
“Our experience with the Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel for our wedding was a bit mixed but overall great. Their communication style was sometimes delayed and we ended up working with a few different coordinators, but they always answered our questions thoroughly. The front desk staff were not the friendliest but the bellmen were all exceptional! The space itself was beautiful, though there were other events going on that day which caused some overlap between the two. Our whole wedding party had to pass around a holiday party, and a few of those people ended up at the reception, but I guess wedding crashers can always be expected. A few of our guests had issues with their hotel rooms as well. The bridal suite had a stain and needed to change, and they were able to immediately. All that said, Catherine, our main point of contact, was incredibly helpful, insightful, and went above and beyond to make sure our special day went smoothly. She assisted with everything and helped the day go smoothly. We even had some hiccups due to the biggest winter storm of the decade, but Catherine and her team were able to help us and help our guests extend their reservations. Overall, the Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel provided a lovely venue.”

“The Perfect Venue for Our Wedding We cannot recommend Guilford Hall enough as a wedding venue. From the moment we first toured the space, we knew it was the perfect fit for us. The combination of the industrial aesthetic with Art Deco details set the stage for an unforgettable celebration. We held our ceremony in the Beer Garden, hosted cocktail hour in the Beer Garden using the Cocktail Room and Cigar Lounge, and had our reception upstairs in the Crown Room. The flow of the event worked perfectly, and the pictures we captured in those spaces are absolutely incredible. The venue fit our style in every way. We chose a buffet for dinner, and it was amazing. Our guests are still talking about how much they loved the food—especially the crab cakes, chicken, and steak. Our signature drinks were made just how we wanted them, and the bar service was top-notch. A huge shoutout to Chef Mauricio and the entire kitchen staff for going above and beyond to help us curate the perfect menu and flawlessly serving 115 guests. The food was incredible and never stopped coming—our guests couldn’t stop raving. We also want to give special recognition to Dani, the Events Planner at Guilford Hall. Dani made us feel incredibly comfortable from start to finish. She went out of her way multiple times to make sure everything went smoothly and that we felt at ease throughout the process. Her attention to detail was unmatched, and without her, we would have been all over the place. She is absolutely incredible—if you have the chance to work with her, take it. She went above and beyond every step of the way to make our day perfect. Working with the entire Guilford Hall team was an absolute breeze. Every staff member was professional, accommodating, and dedicated to making our vision come to life. We couldn’t be more grateful for everything they did to help us host the wedding and reception of our dreams. If you’re looking for a venue that delivers unforgettable memories, exceptional service, and a one-of-a-kind atmosphere—look no further than Guilford Hall.”

We got married outside in the courtyard and had the reception in France Hall, which was a great multi-purpose/event room that was easy to use and adapt to our purposes. The staff was extremely friendly and they had an on-site coordinator/assistant there for the rehearsal and day of. When it looked like it might rain and we wouldn’t be able to use the courtyard, they offered to open up another part of the museum to our guests to compensate. “We rented half the upstairs area in Blue Pit for our rehearsal dinner and I have a feeling it won't be the last time we reach out to Blue Pit for an event or catering. Cara, the owner, is wonderful and very accommodating. The space is cute and quirky and doesn't need much decoration for events. The food is DELICIOUS every single time we visit and this was no exception. Our bartender and main point of contact for the night was Brad, who was amazing every step of the way. If I had to do it all over again, I would choose Blue Pit every time. You can't go wrong here.”

“We cannot say enough about the Mt. Washington Tavern. The whole team made planning our wedding so easy, that I occasionally felt like I was forgetting something. Well, I didn’t forget anything. We wanted a ceremony with a cocktail-style reception featuring heavy hors d’oeuvres, and the Tavern helped us plan it exactly. Our day was perfect, and we owe so much of it to the Tavern staff. Mary, the venue’s coordinator, was incredible. She was prompt and clear in her communications, made helpful suggestions, and really made sure our vision became reality. Holly, the MWT’s decorator, did an incredible job with the bouquets, and decorations; they could not have been more affordable. Shannon, the pastry chef, made us a small cake for cutting and a bunch of mini desserts. We had guests telling us it was the best wedding cake they’d ever had. Our guests also raved about the ahi tuna bar, and how well everything came together. All the kudos goes to the MWT, their attention to detail is incredible, and we could not have had such a wonderful day without them. They even packed us up leftovers to take home, so we didn’t have to cook before leaving on our honeymoon. If you want wedding planning to be easy, get married here.”

Lauryn started the same week we got married and you would have thought she had been there forever. She was attentive, structured, communicative, and made sure we had an amazing night. She was one of the main reasons we could have such a smooth and worry-free night. Also, I can't stop thinking about how amazing my steak was :) Highly recommend this venue space for your next event or wedding. Your guests, like mine, will say nothing but amazing things about it.”
