Purdue Fort Wayne offers a variety of spaces for any number of events, large or small. Our ballrooms are the perfect location for weddings, conferences, etc. We have ample parking near our venues as well as being right next door to a large hotel.

We began our journey in 2015 with a dusty gravel pit and vision for a new home. The gem was the stunning 30 acre crystal clear lake. After purchasing the property we found ourselves hosting church activities and work functions as people truly loved being here. Slowly, we began adding amenities to the property. In 2020 one of our daughters got engaged. As she began looking for a venue to host her wedding we came to realize that the perfect spot was right in front of us. We wanted it to be a very special place and we went to work to create a beautiful wedding venue. There are many opportunities on the property for one of a kind pictures. There are two picturesque options in front of the lake for the service and a new reception building that can seat up to 200 guests. With a 5 acre campus larger weddings can be accommodated with tent rental.

Matterhorn is a highly versatile venue suitable for both large-scale and intimate celebrations. The space is a timeless blend of charm and modern amenities. It’s chic décor and spacious floor plan add to the sophisticated aesthetic and flexible atmosphere, inviting guests to dream big and add their own bit of flair to the occasion. Established in 1977, Matterhorn has become one of Elkhart’s most treasured and long-standing venues. The expansive building features three separate banquet halls, all of which can be combined to accommodate larger gatherings. The East Room is the venue’s smallest space and provides a cozy setting for up to 80 people. The helpful staff can easily join the East, Oak, and West Rooms into a combination that best suits the desired needs and capacity. Linking all three rooms allows for a large dance floor and gives 500 guests ample room to mix and mingle.

Representing the idea behind Art-Deco, the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum was built in 1930. The Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum has been the host to some of the most upscale events that include quite an elaborate resume of special guests including Jay Leno, Dan Aykroyd, Ed Herrmann, and Chuck Surack, founder and CEO of Sweetwater! Featuring a 154-year-old three-story Bank Barn with rustic beams, brick and wood floors, wood and stone walls, and 2 large stone fireplaces. The outdoor space features 10 acres of beautiful gardens, trees, a pond, a lighted fountain, a water feature, and an old windmill. We are revitalizing the former vineyard. Paper Mill on the Landing is a new event center on the 3rd floor of the historic Fisher Brothers Paper Co. building on the Landing in downtown Fort Wayne! Paper Mill provides a renovated urban space with a renowned vintage feel, keeping the centuries of history intact with the addition of modern amenities needed for any event.

Built in 1893, the former city hall of Fort Wayne is a beautiful example of Richardsonian Romanesque architecture. As a museum and a historic building, the History Center has a unique character of its own for you and your guests to explore. Travel through time and learn about the history of Allen County and Fort Wayne through the museum’s fascinating exhibits. The History Center has three rooms available to rent, making it the perfect location for any event. The Shields Room is the centerpiece of the museum. It is the former City Council Chamber and Courtroom. Its features include golden oak paneling, a grand chandelier, large windows with expansive city views, and the restored 22-foot ceiling decorated in rich colors and 24kt gold-leaf stencils. You and your guests may ascend the Grand Staircase or use the elevator to reach the room’s second floor entrance. Two smaller rooms, the Board Room and the Orientation Room, are also available to accommodate small gatherings.
