Michelle Zapanta Photography
Rating: 5.0 (19 reviews)
  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $4,800
  • Serves Aroma Park, IL

What started out as a hobby, evolved into a great passion. With a camera on hand for every event, I spent my lunch money as a young kid developing films at the photo store. I became so fond of capturing as many organic moments as I can in photographs and fell in love with the idea of telling people's stories in images rather than words. I started venturing into professional photography right after my own wedding to my high school sweetheart, Erick, which was back in 2014. I LOVE everything wedding-related. My favorite to photographs are the wedding details, the bride and groom portraits and anything that will make me either cry or laugh!

She made sure to get all the important shots day of wedding & went above and beyond the entire day making sure my husband and I didn’t don’t forget any important photos. We received our entire wedding gallery so quickly after the wedding. Michelle is beyond professional and truly makes sure your wedding is photographed just the way you want.

  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $2,800
  • Serves Aroma Park, IL

I am a professional photographer and artist based in Lockport, IL. I own Two Birds Photography and I've been photographing weddings and families for about 20 years. I'm a sensitive nature guy who loves to talk to trees, pick up rocks, and put my hands in running water. I'm good natured, goofy in my own way, introspective, and intuitive. Along with my partner, our house is full of love with four boys, three cats, and dog. I like to create art, make things with my hands, work with plants in a garden, go on hikes, explore the world, talk one-on-one with people, and I like to laugh.

Jake is so much more than a wedding photographer—he’s a true visual storyteller. Every photo he took is filled with emotion, intention, and artistry. Looking at our photos now, I’m instantly transported back. He captured not only the big moments but also the quiet ones: stolen glances, joyful guests, the delicate details of our table settings. He saw everything without ever being in the way—so calm, so observant, so low-maintenance that we barely noticed him, yet he gave us the most complete and beautiful memory of our wedding. His attention to detail and his ability to see the full picture and the tiny moments is truly special! Jake made us feel totally comfortable in front of the camera, never forcing poses or interrupting the flow of the day. Instead, he brought our photo ideas to life with his own artistic touch—elevating them beyond what we imagined. If you’re looking for someone who will give you timeless, meaningful, and artful photos while letting you fully experience your wedding day—Jake is the one.

A decade in professional theater. Nine years as a fine art street photographer. Now I shoot weddings. The theater taught me comfort—how to help nervous couples relax and forget the camera. The street work trained my eye—finding extraordinary frames in ordinary moments, chasing light like it owes me money. The result: signature portraits that feel like paintings and a shoot that feels like hanging out with a friend. 300+ weddings. 151+ five-star reviews. A 10-photographer team. Zero cookie-cutter work. Camera-shy? Creative? Both? Let's talk.

Awarded Best of Zola
We are absolutely thrilled with our experience working with Jeremy! He is so considerate, professional, and easy to talk to. He is incredibly creative and motivated to make our dreams come to life. He was even willing to hike in a forest with us on a hot, buggy evening to capture the most beautiful photos we've ever seen that will forever remind us of our special day. 10/10, no complaints - he is simply the best!

I’m Reyna, the heart behind Sea Circus Weddings. With over 12 years of experience as a wedding photographer, my passion for wedding photography is inspired by my grandparents’ enduring love; their wedding photos are cherished pieces that guide my work. I strive to create heirloom, film-inspired images that celebrate genuine emotions and joyful moments. I live in a charming Tudor house with my husband, our two little girls, and our cat, Goose. In my free time, I enjoy camping, cooking, and getting lost in a good book.

Awarded Best of Zola
how do you start a review for someone that means so much more to you than just a photographer, a wedding vendor, a person that is capable of capturing all of your happiest moments? From the very start, Reyna was attentive, thoughtful, generous, and kind. She’s not the generic sort of “kind,” either. She is the shirt off her back, put others before herself, drop everything to make sure everyone is doing well type of kind. From the first interaction with Reyna, we knew that we would be so lucky to have her throughout our engagement period and wedding day. planning and paying for a wedding all on your own as a 28 year old couple is no easy feat, but Reyna worked with us every step of the way and was more than considerate. I am forever grateful that I stumbled upon her gorgeous photos and insanely aesthetically pleasing Instagram profile. I thought “no way are we going to be able to snag a photographer this talented.” Reyna made all of our dreams come true. She was able to capture the most gorgeous engagement photos of all time - I think she might even have magical powers and was able to curate the perfect sunset complete with sprinkles of rain and a rainbow. People, including us, were absolutely blown away by the pictures, how she was able to really capture our personalities, and how she added her touch of magic. We really didn’t think that we could love photos any more than our engagement pictures. And then she sent us sneak peaks from the wedding day. Reyna continually blows us away with her talent. I truly think I was able to keep it together emotionally on the day of because I had Reyna’s sweet, calm, and reassuring presence with me every step of the way. We have gotten so lucky with all of our wedding vendors becoming friends and family to us and Reyna is at the top of that list. Now that we have met and loved Reyna in our wedding era, we cannot wait to have her with us for all of the rest of our eras in life. We might even have to make up some life events just so we can hang out with her again. Never in my life would we feel this lucky to have someone like Reyna in our corner and I hope for everyone to be able to experience the talent, warmth, and love that Reyna exudes in everything that she does.

Daniel was soooo kind and thoughtful in the planning process. He met us the day before for our rehearsal dinner/vow exchange and we got these stunning photos by the lake. I’m so awkward in front of a camera but he managed give clear queues to relax us and got adventurous with some shots. On the day of our wedding, he navigated the many moving parts really well, captured the ceremony perfectly, and got great shots during the party. I'm a traveling wedding & elopement photographer based in Michigan. I am always down for an adventure. There is so much to explore and experiences to be had. I love getting to know rad couples and capturing some pretty iconic moments for them. Let's get this party started by sending me an inquiry!

Awarded Best of Zola
For starters, we had Taylor do our engagement pictures- my fiancé and I never had professional photos together and to say I was nervous, was an understatement. Taylor drove over 3 hours to do our little engagement shoot and came with this little speaker and the most warming personality. She made us feel completely comfortable and the pictures really spoke for themselves. She directed us and really made the experience something so fun. Fast forward to a year later, we obviously used her for our wedding. Not only did she help with our wedding timeline, but was easy to communicate with, prompt with response times, and really was excited for our big day. On our wedding day, Taylor was a complete professional. We stuck to a strict timeline and were able to get all our pictures done, still have time to enjoy cocktail hour, and mostly be present during our reception. Taylor has the most vibrant personality and makes everyone feel special on your day. She will hype you up and the next moment have you cracking up. Our wedding photos were exactly what we wanted. The pictures really captured the essence of our wedding, the feelings we had throughout the day, and the love we shared with everyone there. I would and DO suggest her to anyone who asks. Taylor really was the best choice a couple could ask for.

We never take lightly the incredibly humbling role which our clients entrust us to. It is our job to not only document once-in-a-lifetime moments and emotions but to do so in an artful, romantic and documentary manner. We are passionate about storytelling through images that elicit an emotional response, using both film and digital mediums. Our style is unobtrusive which allows us to capture fleeting moments of joy, love, and tenderness with intentionality.

Lynzie was the first person I called after I got engaged! I had been following (okay, stalking) her work on instagram for a while and I knew she would be the perfect fit to capture the romance and soft and airy look that I wanted for my wedding! Lucky for me, she was available and willing to fly to France for my destination wedding! The whole experience with Lynzie and her team was flawless. She worked so well with my wedding planner and made sure we would have enough time to take photos in all the locations I wanted. I loved our engagement photos so much that I hired Lynzie to also photograph my welcome dinner for our international guests in Paris prior to the wedding day! Apparently I'm not the only one who was OBSESSED with how beautifully the images turned out because our wedding was published in THREE magazines, including the front page of Style Me Pretty! I couldn't be happier with Bonphotage. It doesn't get better than Lynzie - she is a true artist who will deliver and more!

Finally circling back to write reviews on some wedding vendors and cannot express just how happy we are that we hired Lauryn!! We had an awesome intro call where Lauryn learned all about us and were so excited to officially add her to our vendor team, then we got to do engagement photos in the city that turned out so well, and we used them for our save the dates. Then of course came the big day- Lauryn was organized, knew all the best poses, and most importantly she was efficient. We got so many amazing photos but never felt like we had to forfeit other experiences of our day in order to get the photos. She got pictures back to us super quickly, and just overall has been so great to work with, we would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding photographer!!

Working with Christin at Christin Sofka Photography was one of the absolute highlights of our wedding journey.
