The balcony is a favorite place for brides to toss their bouquets and for couples to pose for pictures. This castle-like venue is perfect for the fairy-tale wedding of your dreams!

If you are seeking an exquisite garden setting you’ve arrived at the right place! There are 3 components to the rental of Appleford: you have the use of the inside of the estate, use of the tented terrace, and access to the gardens. Your wedding can take place both inside and outside of the house, with the seating for your reception taking place under the tented terrace overlooking the gardens. You and your guests are welcome to roam the gardens and take pictures in the alee of trees, boxwoods, roses garden, walled garden, and private medallion garden. A pond, small waterfall, and landscaped entrance in front of the home is the ideal setting for your onsite ceremony. Appleford works with 8 exclusive caterers and is BYOB. Clients are welcome to select a florist, photographer, videographer, and other vendors. The Duke Sculpture Garden at the Dixon Mansion in Wallingford is housed on a 100-year-old estate. The most striking features of the four-acre landscaped grounds are Rapunzel stone tower and the Main Building, built in 1889. A newer 3,100 square-foot gallery has been added to the Main Building which is air-conditioned and handicapped accessible for your reception. Our 19th-century ballroom would be available as the perfect ceremony "B" plan. The Gallery features oak floors, soaring exposed rustic beam construction and beautiful lighting. Adjacent to the Main Building is a sweeping manicured lawn perfect for a fairytale wedding. Enjoy handcrafted pizza from our cob pizza oven as you stroll the grounds.

John F. Collins Park is a hushed, landscaped hideaway tucked within Center City’s bustling business district. Adjacent to one of Center City’s busiest streets, it can now be a private haven for you and your guests. The entrance from Chestnut Street leads through a wrought iron gateway sculpted with whimsical animal life. Inside, you’re transported to a dreamlike garden defined by miniature fountains, blossoming flowers and cozy stone benches. This hidden gem is home to elegant cocktail parties, small receptions and intimate wedding ceremonies making indelible memories along the way. John F. Collins Park is owned by the Center City District Foundation and operated by Center City District.

Tyler Arboretum is a gorgeous expanse of pristine woodlands, wildflower meadows, winding stream valleys, and butterfly-filled gardens nestled into the green rolling hills just 30 minutes west of Philadelphia. Step back in time and relax in this circa 1740 farmhouse and its 1792 Federal Barn, located within the community of Chesterbrook, situated on the fringe of Valley Forge National Historical Park in Chester County. We invite you to stroll through our three acres of landscaped grounds and experience this unique pastoral setting, perfect for both indoor and outdoor weddings and events. Duportail (Du-Por-tie’) House and The Federal Barn are both listed on the National Register of Historic Places and can accommodate gorgeous weddings and large special celebrations with up to 160 guests depending on usage and time of year.

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Curtis Hall is surrounded by a 45-acre arboretum created by Frederick Law Olmsted, landscape architect for New York City’s Central Park. The “hall” is the original music ballroom of the 1893 Cyrus Curtis estate, "Lyndon". The capacity for dining and dancing is 200. Beyond the handsome wrought-iron entrance gates is a vintage setting of rolling hills, two ponds, an original pergola and 50 varieties of trees. Completed in 1796, the mansion features fifteen foot ceilings and bright spacious rooms in addition to a 2 acre formal garden and the ambiance of the surrounding estate.
