“My husband and I used Direct Entertainment for our DJ and videographer for our wedding and we could not be more pleased!! The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! “Follow the Sun is seriously the best band ever! Not only do they sound amazing, they were so easy to communicate and plan with and are just genuinely good people. Prior to booking, we came out to watch a live performance and even though they were crazy busy, they each made a point to come say hi and get to know us a little bit. Sophie (our contact person for emails while planning) was personable, responsive, and beyond accommodating. They offer complimentary song requests during the planning process and personalized their performances to include us and our people They also played our ceremony live, and it was better than I could have ever imagined it would be! All we wanted for our wedding day was to celebrate and have fun with our friends and family, and Follow the Sun was the exact vibe we were looking for! I don’t think we left the dance floor once all night, other than to take sunset photos. Richie got our daughter involved by giving her a pick and letting her play his guitar mid performance, a highlight she hasn’t stopped talking about and will never forget!! Annnd they shared a bag of Doritos with me at the end of the night during cleanup, that I will never forget! Lol (trust me, when the wedding is over and you realize you never really get a chance to eat the entire day, you will get it ) Just another example of how great these people are!! “Brooks was the DJ for my sister's wedding so I already knew of his work when it came time for my wife and I to get married. During consultation, he gave me confidence that he knew exactly how to provide us with a great experience from the type of equipment to bring, what type of music he would play, and how he conducted the reception. He gave us a questionnaire to fill out as well as a web portal to add all of our preferred and must play songs to. Including all of the first dance and introduction songs. For the reception he brought an awesome stage with a custom light up screen with our names on it. He really knows how to transition between different songs to create a fun flow to the night. A great mix of high energy songs and slow dancing songs. He even brought glow sticks for us to dance with as a throw in. Brandon Brooks helped make our night one that we will remember forever. We recommend Brooks Music to anyone needing a DJ for any event. He is a real pro.”
