It is an adobe building with history in the vineyard area of the upper valley of the Rio Grande, along the old route to Mesilla, also known as Don Juan de Oñate route. Initially it was a women’s club in the 40’s and 50’s, a place of reunions, politics and community center. Later, it became a church for over 20 years. After the church moved out, it was abandoned for many years.
