Working with Brooklyn Rain Brides was an incredible experience! Finding Brooklyn felt like fate! She was everything we needed in a planner. The planning stage was organized, productive and so much fun. I felt like I was chatting with a good friend during our meetings. The moment Brooklyn arrived to the venue on our wedding day, all of my stress vanished. She took my cell phone and really took charge! I was able to finally unwind and really be present with my now husband. She designed a gorgeous sweet heart table and flower arrangements for our reception. We booked Teyanna in 2022 for our August 2024 wedding and did not regret it one bit. It was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. From countless Zoom calls to meeting up in person to select flowers, it was more than we could have asked for and were expecting. Her professionalism and creativity showed through when we had to improvise our outdoor ceremony to an indoor one thanks to a horrific tropical storm. Sam was hands down the best person to have coordinate my wedding. She was efficient, punctual, trustworthy, and so unconditionally kind. As the DIY bride that I was, it was hard for me to trust others with understanding my vision. Well, I barely had to describe some details to her and she just “got it”! Let me elaborate. Due to timing, my group was unable to decorate the ceremony space day before as planned. It was a huge stressor of mine because no other party members were able to do it for me. When Sam came to run our rehearsal instead of asking me “what do you want me to do?” She asked me, “what is stressing you out”. That question was way easier for me to come up with an answer for than the million possible tasks I could have had her do. I told her how the ceremony space not being decorated before the wedding day terrified me, because I would have to have my groomsmen do it, and not be able to see it before walking down the aisle. Sam calmly responded “I got you”. Somehow she said exactly what I needed to hear. Saturday when she arrived, she decorated the entire space, and not once did I worry about it again. The first time I saw the ceremony space was, in fact, when I walked down the aisle. It took my breath away She, somehow, was able to coral my groomsmen, communicate with vendors when I couldn't, and allow my day to flow smoothly. There was not one request I had that Sam responded with any resistance, a no, or made me think any part of my vision was impossible. She offered solutions and constructive criticism in a professional and loving way. If you know me, I tend to be anxious and strive for perfection. Sam strives for perfection and has such a calm disposition. This is why we were the perfect match. I am also a bridal hair stylist/ makeup artist. So I understand the chaos behind weddings. I loved her from a client perspective, but I also pray I get to work with her as a fellow vendor soon. My other vendors expressed how lovely and organized she was. I could go on forever about how amazing and crucial she was to the success of our wedding. But, unfortunately there is a character limit. So, I will leave you with this. She is wonderful. She is precise. She is sweet. She is worth EVERY PENNY of your investment. You will not regret anything. Being new to planning a wedding, we had no idea what we were signing up for. Quickly into the planning process, we realized we needed help to pull off our special day. The process of finding a day-of coordinator felt overwhelming—until we found MK Events. Their sign-up process was a breeze, with a low initial booking fee that was incredibly helpful as we budgeted for our big day. The clarity with which they outlined their duties gave us the confidence we needed to know we were in capable hands. I truly cannot think of a single critique. Without Melissa and Kourtney, I would have felt completely overwhelmed. They held everything together with such grace, a fun spirit, and a calm demeanor that was not only infectious but grounding and very much needed on a day filled with heightened emotions. They became more than just coordinators—they were a safe space and a solid support system beyond what I can express in words. A moment that stands out in particular was when I had almost given up on the vision I had for our altar. I had 100% resigned myself to the fact that it just wasn’t going to happen. We were even treated to a lovely surprise when they sent us some candid background photos they had taken and a lovely bouquet of our table flowers for both me and my fiancée, as well as our parents. Their willingness to step in and handle any task, from filling vases with stones and sand to troubleshooting last-minute issues, was beyond what we ever expected. These women are true superstars. We initially booked MK for day-of coordination because we didn’t realize how much would fall on us. We found ourselves becoming increasingly overwhelmed with all the tasks—decorating, moving decor, coordinating vendors and family photographers, and so much more. That’s when Melissa and Kourtney stepped in, and we couldn’t have been more grateful. Thank you, MK Wedding Coordination, for being the rock that held our wedding together. I really appreciated having Lissia (owner of It's the Little Things) and her assistant as my day-of-coordinators. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, Lissia was always available for advice and to make sure everything was going well with the other vendors. She guided us through our wedding rehearsal. On the morning of our wedding she was there early to decorate and make sure everything was in place. She made our already beautiful venue look perfect and even brought a few additional decorations. Throughout the day, she made sure everyone (especially me) was in the right place and kept things moving. Lissia was always calm, cool, and collected and if anything went wrong during my wedding, I don't know it because she made everything feel like it was going so smoothly (and she caught that the table numbers I set up and the groups of people with the corresponding numbers on the seating chart didn't match). Every little detail was taken care of. I highly recommend It's the Little Things, I hired her for day-of-coordination but I bet wedding planning would have been much easier if I hired her for full wedding planning.

Hi, were Kris & Brandy and we are the proud owners of our family-owned business Affinity Event Rentals. Since being married back in 2007 we have really had a passion for weddings. After seeing how many Brides struggled to resell their wedding decor and hire reputable bartenders, we thought, why not be part of a solution? Starting in 2021 we have hand built mobile bars, started officiating & have gained an awesome team of vendors and employees. The most amazing wedding event I could have ever ask for: especially with Donna from DBC Eventz. The venue was absolutely stunning, offering a perfect blend of elegance and modernity. The DBC Eventz planner decorations were vibrant, and the ambiance was lively, making the celebration unforgettable. The catering service provided a delicious array of local and international cuisines that delighted every guest. The spacious dance floor and excellent DJ kept everyone entertained throughout the night. The staff's hospitality and attention to detail ensured everything went smoothly. Overall, the party hall at  Sweet Auburn  transformed a special occasion into a truly memorable event.

Erin and her team did a fantastic job with our Indian American wedding over Memorial Day weekend 2024 in Kingston, NY. Throughout a 1.5 year long wedding planning process, Erin was diligent, patient, encouraging, collaborative, detail-oriented, responsive, and 100% focused on what we as a couple wanted. Erin clearly brought many years of event and wedding planning experience to the table -- she balanced guiding us with best practices while also really listening to what we wanted. And, from our first meeting, we knew we could trust her completely, which allowed us to delegate responsibility to her and take things off of our plate. There were so many details and "event planning magic" tasks that Erin just knew to plan for and executed on. She and her staff also went above and beyond over the course of the weekend itself, handling countless things so that we could enjoy our wedding fully. This was her first wedding at our venue (which she found for us!), and she made it a point to build relationships with venue staff and to look around corners for potential issues that could crop up. She also did an excellent job managing and following up with all of our vendors, designing and iterating on floor plans, providing us with a timeline and checklist of decisions to be made, all while being cheerful and positive throughout. Our wedding was logistically fairly complex, and she was the reason it was all able to happen. Lastly, we were consistently impressed by her deep knowledge of Indian wedding customs and traditions, despite not being of South Asian descent herself. Erin has very clearly made planning weddings her life's work, and she excels at it! We could not recommend her more!
