Jake and I can't believe how seamless everything was, and there was not one thing that disrupted our special day! From the vendors, to the cake, and the dinner, everything was amazing! Even the weather decided to cooperate as the day progressed! Our friends and family had such a wonderful time and have complimented the event, as the most fun wedding ever! Thank you again and again! Somehow I missed the entire cocktail hour with regard to seeing and eating the buffet; but I relished the passed horderves! I hope Katie took pictures of it inside! We have delivered cakes to couples hosting their wedding at Camelback over the years. That has required coordination with Jennifer and the team. Everyone we have encountered has been easy to work with, caring and attentive! From administrators to waitstaff, we have witnessed them going above and beyond to ensure the couples goals are met, before and after the event! For this reason we have listed them as one of the vendors we prefer to work with in the area. Highly recommended because of the great team, and spectacular views!

Our wedding at Magnolia Streamside Resort was booked a year before the pandemic hit. We originally wanted a party of 50-60, so once October 2020 approached, we were lucky that we didn’t need to uninvite anyone due to occupancy restrictions. Since everything was outside & Covid precautions were taken, there were no positive cases afterwards! That in itself was a win... Cheyenne and her team were a dream to work with... we were able to hand over the decorations that we collected and trust their artistic judgment/placement. Everything was beautiful & perfect! If you’re looking for a laidback, natural setting, with recently updated accommodations, this is your place! Make a weekend out of your special day. 2 thumbs up!

Waterloo Village is a truly magical venue, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience there. We first visited for a wedding and were immediately captivated by the rustic charm and historic atmosphere. After seeing how seamlessly everything ran that day, we knew it was the perfect place for our own wedding. The staff at Waterloo Village is outstanding—extremely friendly, helpful, and refreshingly low-pressure. They genuinely focus on making your day special without pushing you to spend beyond your budget. Their professionalism and warmth made the planning process enjoyable and stress-free. One of the highlights is their catering partner, JAM. Their commitment to farm-to-table dining is evident in every dish. Many of the ingredients are sourced fresh, some even from their urban garden, which adds a special touch. The food is not only fresh but absolutely delicious. The Fox and Bear Lodge was the perfect venue for our wedding. Janice, who runs the inn, was an absolute delight and took wonderful care of us and our guests all weekend, with her incredible breakfasts being a standout. Jenn, the day-of coordinator, was equally amazing—organized, attentive, and ensured everything went smoothly, allowing us to enjoy our day stress-free. For context, we had 65 people at our wedding total, including us and two children. This felt like the perfect size for our group, especially given the necessity of the tent due to chilly October nights. The lodge itself is charming, with great rooms and fantastic amenities. Despite its location at the corner of two streets, we barely noticed any traffic. While nearby lodging options are limited, most of our guests were satisfied with the Quality Inn just 10 minutes away. The venue struck a perfect balance between outdoorsy and chic, offering more flexibility than other venues. Though there were some additional but reasonable fees, it was wonderful to have our rehearsal dinner, welcome drinks, and brunch all at the lodge, making it the ideal fit for our special day. We are so thankful that we decided to stay over an extra night, without any of our guests, to get to truly enjoy the lodge a bit more before checking out. We could have stayed there all week! * Photo credit: Katie Christ Photography
