“Our daughter was married Sept 2023 and we worked with Yessie for her wedding cake and all the desserts at the dessert table. She was fantastic! Our daughter had a floral 'Alice in Wonderland'-ish wedding and Yessie worked with us making sure she got all the details exactly right for the cake. Our daughter wanted bright floral colors in the desserts with a bit of woodland look. Yessie took all this into consideration and really came thru to execute the look/feel our daughter wanted. Yessie was easy and professional to work with, even coming up with a new macaron flavor that our daughter requested. She was patient with changes and additions. We are in NC, so alot of the planning and design was thru email and messenger and Yessie was always super quick to respond and never let messages sit there for days like some of the vendors. Finally, the look she created was great, but that was nothing compared to the flavors! She knocked every dessert out of the park with her flavors! Everyone commented on how good everything was! They were, hands down, the most delicious cupcakes and cake we’ve ever had — and we weren’t the only ones who thought so! Not a single cupcake was left by the end of the night. Everything was beautifully done, and the owner went above and beyond every step of the way. Her communication was excellent, and she was incredibly thoughtful and accommodating — even going so far as to prepare separate batches of cupcakes to keep family members with severe peanut and gluten allergies safe. “Valerie of Frosted Swirl was an absolute delight to work with while creating mine and Dylan’s dream sweetheart wedding cake and cupcakes! From the very beginning, she made the entire process feel exciting, easy, and so special. We started with a tasting box, and honestly… we wished we could have chosen every single flavor. Each cupcake was beautifully crafted and unbelievably delicious. We ultimately chose four flavors that perfectly complemented our November 1st wedding - Apple Cider Donut, Cannoli, Brownie Sundae, and Chocolate Raspberry. The Chocolate Raspberry was so incredible that we knew immediately it had to be our sweetheart cake flavor as well! Our cake was stunning! “It is truly an understatement to say I love cake. It is actually my weakness! So when I was searching for a bakery or baker to make my wedding cake, I really wanted to make sure I was not only going to love the look and taste of it but also choose someone that is actually passionate about it. I reached out to so many places and no one responded so kindly and promptly like Natasha. It is no doubt that her work is impeccable (what you see in pictures does not do justice to how even MORE beautiful it is in person), but her communication throughout the process and commitment to executing your vision is incomparable to other bakeries and bakers. I had a very intimate/small wedding (15 people), and other bakers made me feel like my event wasn't worth their time and effort to make, but Natasha was so sweet and kind - made me feel like she genuinely wanted to make our day special. I especially loved that she offered a cake tasting for us even though we were only ordering a small 2-Tier cake. Other bakers refused to do a tasting unless I was intending to spend over 700. All of the flavors she offered were SOOOOO good! It was tough to choose one but we are beyond satisfied with the berry shortcake flavor Everyone at my wedding was so impressed by the cake. So clean, chic and timeless. She truly executed my vision from just the one inspiration picture. Unfortunately I did not get any clear pictures of the cake due to the dim lighting in the restaurant . My guests were also amazed how moist and tasty it was too (make sure to follow her recommendation to serve cake at room temperature to enjoy at its full potential). You can really feel the love, time and effort she puts into her work!!! A TRUE TALENT. She was very honest and reasonable when it came to pricing as well! I definitely plan to work with her again for future events”

“I've had many Alchemy Desserts treats but my memorable experience is my first. I had a million ideas and a message I couldn't quite figure out how to get across. Unfortunately, I am also painfully indecisive and an anxious people pleaser. The cake had to be perfect and I had no idea what I was doing. The kindness and patience I experienced was enough to make me a loyal customer. But the cake oh my goooood the cake. The flavor combinations, texture, and consistency were all so spot on. I am not proud of the amount of cake I consumed but it was absolutely worth it. There is always special attention to ensure your cake, pastry, or other delicious treats is never overpoweringly sweet, with I personally appreciate. We had a 6" lemon cake filled with Bavarian cream and raspberry preserves with a vanilla almond buttercream, strawberry shortcake cupcakes, brownies, and chocolate chip cookies. She guided us through tasting samples and consultation calls with so much care, always staying considerate of our needs, making customizations, and advising us exactly where necessary. While our Red Velvet cake was absolutely delicious on the inside, and she added extra cookies to the cake after our follow-up consultation. We learned a tough lesson about deep-colored frosting. Cheryl warned us about the impacts of using heavy dye to achieve a burgundy exterior (as we wanted to avoid fondant), and we should have listened! The exterior ended up with a bit of a chemical taste and stained everything it touched. Take our advice: Cheryl knows her stuff! If she makes a suggestion on color or texture, trust her expertise—you’ll be in great hands. Aside from our own misunderstanding, the service and cake quality were wonderful.”

Portia (sorry if I misspelled it!) was absolutely amazing! the tasting went wonderful and she was very professional! the cakes we wanted were not super crazy but she nailed every part of them! We did a 2 tier marble cake which was amazing, the groom's cake was a Georgia themed Football which was 1 part carrot cake and 1 part red velvet which left us speechless, and the absolute show stopper was the banana pudding cupcakes! Oh my gravy these were the talk of the night! All the cakes were so moist and rich but also decadent and tasted like happiness lol! In regards to Portia herself, I would have to say she is a pleasure to work with! I had at least 3,475 questions throughout the process and she was so patient and understanding and on time!! “Amy was an absolute joy to work with! Because my husband is Peruvian American, we really wanted to have a dessert table at our reception (a Peruvian wedding tradition).
