From the first day we booked the venue, Barry recommended incredible vendors and made the wedding process a breeze! Barry makes himself available 24/7 to answer questions, connect you with vendors and keep you calm! Even with an incredible venue, you need a capable staff to support your wedding day. Barry’s staff at the village club is amazing! Everyone is so friendly and diligent to making everything run smoothly the day of. The food is absolutely amazing! My guests came up to me all night raving about the food and saying it was the best wedding food they have ever had. After our tasting, we knew we made the right decision choosing the village club for our special day! The village club itself has had some new renovations which we were lucky enough to have for our wedding. The ballroom is completely updated and refinished, the building repainted, the room for cocktail hour has new carpet and refinished chairs to match, and the patio overlooking the golf course has a new permanent pergola structure that opens and closes for shade with fans to keep your guests cool! The renovations to the village club are incredible and give the venue a fresh new look! Barry and Amy really run such a smooth operation the day of the wedding. From the moment we arrived, Amy told us where to go, what to do and where we had to be. Barry and Amy provided us with drinks for the bridal suite and made sure everyone was taken care of! They both kept checking on us throughout the night to make sure we were eating, drinking and having the best night ever. Calissa was amazing! We booked our wedding ceremony/reception and they were all so accommodating. The restaurant/venue is beautiful on its own, so we didn’t need much for flowers and decor. The food was delicious, our guests said that food kept coming and that’s exactly what we were looking for. And the service was excellent. Everyone was so attentive and friendly. From the planning of the day’s events, including the amazing band, to the food and the details, Calissa was amazing. Several of our guests said our wedding was the best ever! Choosing 360 East at Montauk Downs as our wedding venue was one of the best decisions we made. From the start, their communication style was incredibly accommodating, responsive, helpful, and kind. Hailee, who manages the venue, was a true powerhouse - she had a smile on her face the entire night and it was clear she loves what she does. The staff was equally as great, ensuring the whole planning process was a breeze and our special day could not have been more perfect. The quality of their work and value was stunning - the venue was beautifully managed, the food was incredible, and they had amazing in-house vendors that provided great service. We couldn't recommend 360 East at Montauk Downs more highly to any couple looking for an incredible wedding experience.

After visiting The Haylard, my then-fiancé and I knew it was the perfect wedding venue! From the location, to the food, to the staff, everything contributed to make it the most special day. Caroline is truly amazing and made sure every last detail was coordinated so that we did not need to worry in the slightest on the day of. She is beyond thoughtful and put so much care into making sure our day was perfect (even despite a last minute move to an indoor ceremony). Nothing missed a beat. Our guests told us countless times during and after the wedding that it was the best wedding they had every been to, that it was the best wedding food they had ever been to and they couldn't stop raving about Greenport and the Halyard. There is not enough space to say all the wonderful things about the staff and the venue that I would like to, but my husband and I could not recommend the Halyard more. It was a perfect day! We're ready to do it again!

If you are considering Jedediah Hawkins for your wedding, here are the 5 things I’d most like to share about our experience there. 1. Nothing went wrong. As soon as we were greeted by Ilias, who manages the entire operation, we knew he will not allow anything to go wrong. At that point my stress dissolved, and I began to really enjoy the happiest day of my life. 2. The food: appetizers, entrees and desserts, was consistently excellent and abundant. 3. The venue is gorgeous, rain or shine. The staff deal with weather issues instantly if things change. I have personal, happy experience with this. 4. The staff is friendly, professional and trained to please the guests as well as the wedding party. 5. In addition to sending thank you notes, I receive them from family and friends who had the time of their lives. We had the luxury of an outstanding wedding planner, a wonderful string quartet, and a gorgeous wedding cake. Yet had we not been able to afford those luxuries, our day at Hawkins would have been the grandest day of our lives. That is due to the people who manage and staff this lovely venue. On the day of our wedding the weather wasn’t optimal, but rain wasn’t a sure thing. Ilias patiently waited while we watched the JHI staff, musicians and florist setup our outdoor garden wedding. About half an hour before the scheduled start, Ilias determined that we were moving indoors. Then, it started to pour. Nobody batted an eyelash. The Hawkins team converted the beautiful reception “Barn” into a lovely wedding chapel. Ilias and a small army of servers with umbrellas led us through the wisteria covered pathway to the Barn. After the ceremony, we enjoyed the cocktail hour in the historic restaurant/inn while the staff restored the Barn for dinner and dancing. When we went for a tasting to select the food that would be served, the chef prepared full entrees and appetizers so we would know exactly what would be served, how it would taste and how it would be presented. We were served each of the available first course appetizers that our guests would choose from. On our wedding day, my husband and I had all these things served at our table. The cocktail hour includes both hot appetizers served by staff constantly moving through your crowd of guests and a wonderful Tuscan cold appetizer table. When I spent a selfish amount of time listening to the string quartet we brought in, my bridal attendant Kelly (provided by JHI to shadow me in case I needed anything) noticed it and appeared with a platter of hot appetizers just for my new husband and me. Kelly also perfectly arranged my fresh flowers on our wedding cake, coordinated the presentation of a birthday cake we brought for our flower girl’s fifth birthday and made sure that our guests had boxes to take home desserts from the huge dessert table of cookies and pastries. Kelly was a great example of the Hawkins staff knowing how to pre-empt any chance of something going wrong. She was always with me to connect a need with a service. We had the luxury of staying at the Inn during our wedding weekend. - You must see the rooms if you are thinking of staying!! Eugenia was our house mother, housekeeper, breakfast coordinator and all around resource. She kept us comfortable and ready to enjoy our stay. The many Hawkins staff devoted to our wedding did small and incredibly large things to make everyone comfortable, satisfied and happy. ALL of our guests raved about them. Yours will too.

It felt like home — but with more space and more luxury. It felt like we were getting ready in a real life dollhouse! Being just steps away from the venue while still having our own space was the perfect way to start the day. They have multiple areas for photos, both indoor and outdoor. The staff was also incredible to work with. From the moment we booked our wedding at Water's Edge Resort and Spa, their team was fantastic at communicating with us every step of the way. They have a great event space that was perfect for our wedding, and they were extremely accommodating to all of our requests leading up to the big day. When rain threatened to put a damper on our outdoor cocktail hour, the staff worked quickly to put together a beautiful backup plan indoors so we could still have the wedding of our dreams. The level of service we received from the entire team at Water's Edge was truly outstanding, and we are so grateful for all their hard work in making our special day a huge success.

Their communication style was effective, easy, and accommodating - they really listened to us and made sure our vision came to life. We used Twin Forks for an engagement party and it was such a great experience! Savannah, the manager, was so easy to work with and accommodated all of our requests. She really went above and beyond to make the event special. The venue was perfect- so spacious and trendy with plenty of room for our large party. The drink and food package is the way to go and made the planning so easy and seamless. The prices were also very reasonable. The staff were so helpful and pleasant to deal with. I have loved coming to the Essex Steam Train & Riverboat museum since I was a child so when my husband and I got engaged, we knew we had to get married here. It was such a magical venue and was reasonably priced. They truly don't try to nickel-and-dime you like a lot of other wedding venues, they just want you to have a good experience. The bridal suite was a beautifully decorated air-conditioned train car. We also decided to add on a roundtrip steam train ride down to the CT river and a steamboat cruise as our cocktail hour (honestly didn't cost as much as you'd think...). Our reception was inside the hall and was perfectly air-conditioned and decorated. We did a buffet option and the food was good! If you decide to get married outside, just remember that it IS an active train yard so make sure your officiant has a microphone. Meredith and Tyler were very easy to work with while planning the event. I highly recommend getting married here. Oh, and your photos will look INSANE.

I am so pleased with the welcome party that we parents of the bride and groom were able to host in the Cutter Room at the Hilton Mystic in Mystic, CT! The room was perfect for our party of 120 guests---lots of space to mingle, room for some table seating and some hi tops; we had a bar inside our private party space with room for 2 bartenders to serve our guests; we had finger foods and deserts and a beautiful cheese and cracker tray that was all displayed beautifully and DELICIOUS (I wish I had some of the brownies now!); and the Hilton audiovisual team assisted us in having a screen for our photo slide show and speakers for some music in the background. Rebecca Buttafuoco was our event manager, and she was readily available, helped plan all aspects of our event, and truly made a memorable and fabulous party for all! Thank you Rebecca! I would recommend this venue and our wonderful event manager Rebecca to everyone!

I honestly forget if I already wrote a review for The Lace Factory, but recently I was reflecting on our wedding day and a few things stuck out that had me so thankful we held our reception at The Lace Factory. From the beginning of the planning process the team is extremely clear and communicative. I love a checklist and theirs is one that ensures nothing will be forgotten. Our guests are still sharing how gorgeous the venue was, how incredible the food spread was, and one detail I was surprised by, from my cousin who has been to their fair share of large celebrations. "The food was not only delicious, but they managed to serve such a large group and the food was actually hot!" This speaks to the well-oiled machine that is The Lace Factory and it must be emphasized that this machine has heart. They accomplished another feat of having my family and I not worry about the severe allergy of my dad, as they adjusted the menu accordingly, without us having to miss out on all the options. This carried over to assist some guests who also had specific dietary needs. I realize this sounds boring, but it is wonderful to know your guests are safe and fed and focus on the celebrating! The Lace Factory is a venue that can transform your wedding into something beyond your dreams while holding true to your vision.

We loved getting married at BIMI. It was great to be on the water and have an indoor and outdoor location. BIMI comes with its own tables, chairs, bar, kitchen, and dance floor as well as a back porch and lawn. We were able to personalize the venue to our needs for decorations. You also know when you’re getting married there that you’re supporting a great cause, as BIMI uses the funds for maritime education and programs on Block Island!
