When the world froze during COVID, I continued my studies and got my Certified Wedding Planner certificate. It has been beyond fulfilling to bring families together and be a part of couples’ love-filled, special day.

Petite Planning was born from our own wedding planning journeys, where we felt lost, completely unsure if we were getting a good deal or not, and overwhelmed with all the resources online nowadays about how to plan a wedding. Our team is comprised of planners from a variety of backgrounds - investment banking, special needs education, corporate event planning, marketing and PR, and more. These diverse experiences allow us to fully understand what it's like trying to plan a wedding while juggling everything life throws at you. My name is Jen and I'm the owner of Southern Skies. The name comes from my love of seeing the NC stars on a clear night with its calmness and unfiltered beauty. I've been planning events since I was 16 and been planning professionally since 2014.
