“I ordered the "peaches and cream" small package. We decided to skip on ceremony florals, and only have handhelds and bud vases at the reception. We did buy a few more flowers from the grocery to add more peach once the flowers arrived. We made and medium sized bridal bouquet, 4 bridesmaids bouquets, 3 corsages, and 7 bouts. (With lots of flowers left over). My bridesmaids and I did the arranging the morning before the wedding; it was fun, and a great start to the weekend. None of us had experience, but it all turned out great! If you or your bridal party are mildly crafty, I'd highly recommend it!”

“The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!”

I gather inspiration for my work through various mediums whether it be books, old cinema, vintage Hollywood, outdoor landscapes or my travels. But most importantly, the way Kristen and her team brought our vision to life on our wedding day left us absolutely speechless (literally had no words when we first saw the reception space). The arrangements that she created were stunning, BEYOND anything that we even envisioned. In 2016, I started looking for creative alternatives to fresh flowers. I saw an advertisement for WOOD flower arrangements and was intrigued. I quickly ordered a centerpiece and when it arrived, I was so amazed by the product that I took the flowers apart to see how they were made. It was fascinating to me that someone would think to use the wood from a plant to make flowers. Fast forward a couple months and I started ordering raw undyed flowers, dove in headfirst, and fell in love! By using WOOD flowers, we are able to custom dye & arrange them to give a bride more versatility. I am so honored to be a small part of a bride’s special day!
