Black Canyon Inn has 2 beautiful event spaces! The Boulders venue can accommodate up to 200 guests and aesthetically is a modern event space with natural rock and industrial chandelier lighting. The ceremony and reception take place within the two-story building and there are large accordion opening windows for mountain views throughout your ceremony and reception. The Homestead & Wedding Pavilion Venue can accommodate up to 100 guests and has an outdoor covered Pavilion with mountain views as the ceremony space and a historic rustic cabin for the reception space. We offer an active duty military discount of 10% off our venue fee! We are grateful for your service!

“We had a wonderful experience working with Brus and the full Spruce Mountain team. They think of everything when it comes to logistics, and we didn't have to worry about a thing from the moment we showed up on wedding day until the end of the night. Our experience touring the venue a year and a half ago, coming back for the Wine & Nosh event, and doing our 30 day walk through all made the planning process so smooth and exciting for us and our families. The multiple ceremony locations are all gorgeous, and we were thrilled to be able to get married mountainside with the natural beauty of Colorado in the background. Our guests loved cocktail hour and the indoor/outdoor dinner & dancing set up. Spruce is truly a 5 star wedding venue because of its natural beauty and the organization/care the team takes in scoping out all the details, like 2 beautiful getting ready suites for the bridesmaids & groomsmen, shuttles to take guests up mountainside, and open air string lights for late night dancing. Spruce is also a popular spot that many of our vendors were familiar with, which made logistics even smoother since our bartenders, caterer, DJ, planner, and florist had all done multiple weddings at Spruce before and had great recommendations on what could work well with our vision. We hope to come back for future events and are so happy to have gotten married at Spruce!”

“Tammy & The FDR crew are absolutely incredible! This was hands down the most beautiful and breathtaking Mountain property! The venue boasts impeccably maintained landscaping/flowers, 2 ceremony site options (Aspen Grove View or Mountain View), a large white reception tent with dance floor, vendor/catering tents, on site bathrooms, a cabin for bridal party to get ready in -- and all within a comfortable 15min proximity to town which was amazing for our 200 guests! The FDR team was accommodating, friendly, and a joy to work with making our special day really personal and fun!! I highly recommend the FDR and Team as they make weddings look and feel like an absolute DREAM!”

“We live here locally in Steamboat and it meant the world to us to be able to get married here. Everything about this venue is amazing! We had the best experience and our guests were VERY impressed! They truly put the bride and groom first while also providing an amazing experience for their guests. The wedding day was stress free, as the staff are professionals and made the day seem seamless. My wedding coordinator Kylie was absolutely amazing and made us feel so comfortable. She was calm, cool and collected the entire time. The venue is beautiful, and the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and confident about the big day. I would recommend La Joy Dulce to anyone and everyone! They were responsive, encouraging and very easy to communicate with from day one.”
