Barn on Bridge provided an exceptional experience for our wedding day! Amanda Frangoulis, our event manager, went above and beyond to ensure every detail aligned with our vision, including arranging a private tasting when my husband couldn’t attend the quarterly one. I provided a detailed menu that reflected my vision for a fall rustic wedding, and the culinary team executed it with incredible precision. For hors d’oeuvres, we selected salmon deviled eggs, southwest crab cake bites, lobster mac & cheese bites, Caprese skewers, and Mediterranean lamb burger sliders with tzatziki sauce. Our first course was an unforgettable butternut squash sweet potato soup with pumpkin seeds poured tableside over butternut squash cubes—a show-stopping experience! For entrees, we had spicy honey-glazed panko-crusted salmon, apple cider-glazed chicken, and butternut squash ravioli with brown sage butter sauce and toasted pine nuts, paired with kale & apple salad, garlic Parmesan green beans, and sweet potato mash (If you ever use these dishes, you’re going to have to credit Barn on Bridge and me!). Guests raved about the delicious and perfectly executed dishes, and I was thrilled to hear the culinary team plans to adopt some of my suggestions into future menus! Thalia, our day-of coordinator, ensured everything ran seamlessly and went the extra mile by preparing leftovers for us—a thoughtful touch that allowed us to savor the incredible food later. I also want to emphasize that successful weddings are a partnership. Often, dissatisfaction stems from a lack of clear communication, but this team is exceptional at walking you through every step. They genuinely care about your vision and execute it with precision. I felt supported, valued, and cared for throughout the process. If you communicate your ideas, Barn on Bridge will deliver above and beyond. I wholeheartedly recommend them for an unforgettable wedding experience!

  • Full catering menu to choose from
  • Creates a sense of togetherness

Venue considerations

  • No on-premises lodging options
  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • Venue feels large for events with small guest lists
My fiancé and I were looking for a rustic wedding venue, not a ballroom, preferably a venue with space to be outside (weather permitting). We visited a few options in the Philly area and fell in love with the John James Audubon Center! The space offers SO many options for an outdoor or indoor ceremony. They host receptions in the pavilion which is open with huge windows and firepits outside! The site is beautiful, and everyone we’ve worked with has been immensely helpful! After officially booking for our October 2024 wedding, we planned to visit with our parents. What was originally intended to be a quick stroll around the grounds turned into an impromptu tour with the venue manage. She answered all of our parents' questions and even brought out photo books of previous weddings for us to flip through together. With the wedding right around the corner now, we could not be more thrilled with our decision and can't wait to be there next month to celebrate our big day!

Drumore Mill was an absolutely stunning venue to use for our special day (really weekend). We loved the ease of booking the venue, touring with Thuy, and the promptness and flexibility they offer. An added bonus is the available on site lodging for rental, which we made great use of for our close friends, family, and wedding party to stay in the night before and night of the wedding. We enjoyed the Great Room in the Grist Mill for our rehearsal dinner. Our guests loved how spacious Drumore Mill was, and we appreciated all the attention to detail such as included (but still optional) decor and greenery, and the setup of chairs and other items for the ceremony space. Being able to bring in all of our own vendors at no additional cost was fantastic. The value for renting the property from Thursday to Saturday morning was unmatched and completely worth it. We would recommend Drumore Mill to anyone, and we look forward to booking the property in the future for non-wedding related stays with friends and family.

The Barn of Nottingham was the most perfect wedding venue my husband and I could have chosen. Mallory was absolutely amazing and helped out so much throughout the process. Her and her team made the days leading up to and the day of the wedding so much easier. We chose to do the full weekend package and it was the best decision ever! We were able to treat the whole weekend as a little get away for my husband and I, along with our wedding parties. Having the venue the whole weekend made setting up decorations so much easier and less stressful. The venue, from the house, to outside, to inside the barn, was absolutely stunning. The rustic feel was exactly what we wanted on our wedding day. Being able to have our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all at one location was amazing. Having a space for both my husband and his groomsmen, along with my bridesmaids and I to get ready in the day of was perfect. My husband and I could not have picked a better venue to get married at. I 100% recommend the barn of Nottingham!

Our coordinators were fantastic, the food was delicious and we got to know many of the hotel staff by name over the course of our weekend (the front desk, the chef, custodian, etc.). They were also super professional and communicative regarding both our two postponements due to COVID19 and a coordinator staffing change over our time working with the venue. (Both our first and second coordinators were great!) You will be hard-pressed to find a venue of this quality for a better price. Do yourself the favor and book here!

We just had our wedding at Cefalo's this past weekend and it was First Class. Sixty guests attended. The owners, Lenny and Dean and Amy, the Manager, were fantastic to work with and made the event everything we dreamed of. We felt very welcome throughout the planning. Cefalo's is a beautiful place to hold a wedding ceremony then dine on fantastic food cooked up by Dean and served by his staff in their dining room. After dinner, you can spend the rest of the evening partying the ballroom. They offer all the services, (or can recommend) you need when planning a wedding. For us and our guests, it was super convenient and easier to have everything for the wedding in one beautiful setting. The food, the hor's d'oeuvres, and entrees was amazing. There's also a huge bar attended by professional bartenders. The food servers were friendly, professional and very attentive. We received so many compliments from our guests on both the food and service. Many said that was the best food they ever had at a wedding! So, if you're looking for a top notch, First Class venue to have your wedding, look no further then Cefalos.

Where to even begin to give my praises about Hotel Monaco and their event staff - not only was our night absolutely perfect but the entire process leading up to the day was seamless and stress free! You are provided a coordinator (ours was Lindsey!), who provided support (planning, advice, organization, instant communication, etc.) that went above and beyond my expectations. There is nothing quite as valuable as knowing before hand that your big day is taken care of and you can enjoy your day without a worry. Additionally, every guest raved about the food and drinks. The venue being at a hotel is obviously beyond convenient, did not need to set up/pay for extra transportation and we were treated like royalty all weekend long at the hotel! Stunning photos all around the hotel, rooftop, and downtown are just an added bonus. I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience!

We had a fantastic time at Pittsburgh Botanic Garden. We chose it for its seclusion and natural beauty, and even our local guests were wowed by the “hidden gem” we found. The best of the best: -we did our first look and private vows in the meadow, it gave us a scenic, private backdrop for a special moment. There was a hiker or two, but everyone was very respectful of the moment we were having! -staff is super kind and lovely, everyone I talked to treated us with kindness and excitement -they make it very easy to walk through all the paperwork and materials they need -they recently acquired their own tables and chairs and even helped with the floor plan! Less to rent. -they now have their own alcohol packages and I was thrilled that this was one less thing to juggle as we started planning. We just picked our package and our menu! -they did a great job coordinating with other vendors in terms of the timing of set up and tear down, and from our perspective, everything flowed very smoothly! Things to note if you’re considering: -you have to use one of their recommended caterers. We LOVED Nick at hazelnut catering. He is so nice and a seasoned PBG caterer -you have to rent a tent through Ambasssdor Tent Rentals for most wedding sizes. You’ll also need to rent your linens through there. -they don’t really have a waiting area for guests. We had a handful of guests that showed up generously early. Some snuck into the ceremony area and got in the way until one of the coordinators asked them to wait outside, and two elderly family members were let into the bridal suite by my dad so they had a place to sit until the gates officially unlocked. If the gate is locked, there’s not really anywhere for guests to sit down until they get in unless they walk across the parking lot to the welcome center. I would keep this in mind as you are planning day of logistics. -there are multiple add on packages, and I was skeptical, but they are worth it! The all inclusive package includes set up and tear down assistance, as well as cookie table set up (huge help for a big cookie table crowd). The s’mores and yard games provided an extra activity and was a hit among all ages.

The city view for cocktail hour won me over! We had our wedding in September, so we kept the outdoor bar open and people sat around the fire pits and enjoyed the view all evening! Due to Covid, this was really important to me. I wanted people to be able to spread out and get fresh air! The food was AMAZING! Carly and her team are second to none!

We could not possibly recommend HHC for your wedding more! Our planner Sandi was a dream from beginning to end of the process. There are so many different options for ceremony/happy hour/reception locations. The whole venue has such a unique with the ease of a well oiled event machine. The decisions are all simplified through their planning process, and since we were planning from out of town there was very little DIY required in our end which was perfect. There are also many hotels around and lots to do in walking distance so all of our guests had a blast too!

When looking for a wedding venue we knew we wanted something more unique and fun, and the Warhol was a perfect fit. We did have some initial hesitation about the quick turnaround time from the museum closing to our event starting, but we were reassured by the Warhol team that they do it all the time and it would not be an issue. And it truly was not an issue at all, they are PROS and had the room set up perfectly even ahead of schedule. There are also so many activities / fun activations you can have at your wedding with the Warhol like gallery tours, a custom photobooth, and screen printing. The food was also excellent! When people ask where you're having your wedding and you say "The Andy Warhol Museum" be prepared for a lot of "oh wow" and "that's so cool" because it really is so special to be able to host an event here and guests will love it. We had the absolute pleasure of working with Dylan and LaSawn on the Carnegie Museums/Warhol team and Heather from the Culinaire catering team who were all so wonderful and kind. Extra-special shoutout to Heather because we worked with her from day one and she is just AMAZING, and truly one of the best parts of our wedding planning process. If you're considering the Warhol for your wedding, you won't regret it!

The communication leading up to our wedding at the Carnegie Museums of Art and Natural History was a bit challenging, as there seemed to be a lot of turnover with the staff. We had to retell our plans multiple times to different people, which was stressful. However, on the day of the wedding, the staff were incredibly polite and professional. The space itself was absolutely stunning - the perfect backdrop for our special day. The food service was also wonderful, and our guests raved about the quality of the meal. While the communication leading up to the event was not ideal, the venue and staff ultimately delivered a flawless experience that we will always remember fondly.

Located in the heart of Pittsburgh’s historic Strip District, The Art Room is a 4,000 square foot, modern industrial event space. Its rustic yet refined feel makes this space the perfect venue for your special occasion. The Art Room was born in Fall 2019 on the concept of creating an event space with the juxtaposition of industrial and fine arts. After seeing the rustic space, we started renovations right away. Given the timing of opening our space, we, like many others, were halted due to COVD-19. Beginning in the Spring of 2021 we were able to resume hosting events and honing in on the original concept of a versatile event venue partnered with a fine arts gallery.

    Why you'll love this venue

I had a wonderful experience working with Lydia and Kristen. We held out welcome party at the Art Room and used their sister company, PA Market for passed apps and a charcuterie table. Bartenders and staff were efficient and kind. The space is a blank slate that you can design! It was really nice that they provided linens. We had about 100 people and there was PLENTY of space. Even a little too big of a space for 100 - i think 150 would be the perfect number for a non-seated event

My husband and I recently booked the Broderie Room for a small intimate wedding and could not be happier that we did. From start to finish, everything was perfect. We worked with Caroline Walker as our Day-of-Coordinator. She was fantastic! She was very easy to communicate with, asked plenty of questions during our walk through meeting to ensure she was prepared for the big day, and made sure everything flowed seamlessly during the ceremony. The Broderie Room and the Conservatory itself is just phenomenal. The spring flowers were beyond gorgeous and I can't say enough great things about the beauty throughout the entire building. We had an amazing experience and so appreciate Phipp's and Caroline for making our special day as perfect as it was.
