Hi there! We are Wil & Elisa, husband and wife wedding filmmakers based in Raleigh, NC. We got married on a chilly spring day in Michigan 10 years ago. Best day of our lives! We have two daughters that are our world and keep us entertained for sure! We have been in the filmmaking industry together for 9 years. Elisa is creative and organized which makes my work load so much easier. She's always there to lend a helping hand even though she has her own business to manage. For me, I love weddings and gear! I am constantly finding new ways to film and searching for new gear to add to my collection.

Filmmaking has always been my passion. After attending film school, I was given the opportunity to film a wedding, and that was the beginning of this journey as a storyteller! I considered myself a blessed guy, for being able to create a beautiful film for you to remember and cherish forever. I consider weddings more than just a day, it's a beginning of a lifetime commitment and we are both so thankful to be able to do what we do. We can't thank our clients enough for trusting us and letting us capture their day with a creative, unique film that will take them back to their special day every time they sit to watch.

    The team at Single Story Film did an incredible job on my daughter's wedding video. They were so kind, helpful and unobtrusive during the wedding weekend and the final product was more than we could have hoped for. I appreciated their professionalism. They worked so well with the other vendors and so beautifully captured the entire weekend. What I love the most is that the video so well represented the very spiritual ceremony and the love between my daughter and her new husband. The team also captured the energetic, rowdy dance party that followed. I am so very thankful to have all of these memories on film. As the mother of the bride, I missed so much the day of, but I have watched the video over and over again and it truly brings back all of the joy and love. Finally, when I asked them for additional footage that included the toasts, they put together another video for me. I am very thankful and highly recommend them.

    We loved working with Single Story Film as our wedding videographer. Wil & his wife were so sweet and we loved having them around on our big day as they captured all of our precious moments. The communication leading up to our wedding day was wonderful, and Wil kept us up to date on the progress of our videos afterwards. The video is absolutely gorgeous and we will cherish it always. A videographer, even more than a photographer in my opinion, really captures the FEELING of your wedding day - and Single Story Film will do just that and more. I cannot recommend them enough!

    I cannot sing Single Story Films praises enough!! They are absolutely incredible at their craft and just down right amazing people to work with. Wil and his wife are so kind and encouraging and professional. They stuck by our side as we had to navigate a wedding during a pandemic year. They never left our side. They remained professional and safe and gave us their absolute best! Even on our reception day (separate from our wedding day due to COVID-19), an absolute monsoon fell right before our outdoor reception was about to begin. I was a little (a lot) overwhelmed and Wil just walked in with a huge smile and said to me “It’s going to be absolutely beautiful, don’t you worry”. That simple comment put me at ease and set the tone for our entire evening. AND THEN WE GOT OUR VIDEO!!! I was in awe. So thrilled with what they created. So incredibly happy with the memories I get to relive for years to come thanks to Single Story Films!! They are the best and you won’t be disappointed at all!
