    Wedding couple

    Scheffler Productions, Rob, is an absolute pleasure to work with. He is so easy to talk to, so helpful, timely, supportive and professional. He has such a calming presence and was just so sweet throughout the entire process. He is a creative genius, always looking for the best way to capture every moment. You can tell he genuinely enjoys his work and goes above and beyond for his clients. It was pouring rain on my wedding day (good luck, I hope!) and he made sure to arrive a day early to the venue to capture footage in the sunshine! I had no idea he was going to do that and to see it in the video was just so touching! The video was absolutely perfect and worth every penny, his passion definitely shines through in his work. I simply can't say enough about Rob, he is the very best!

    Exceptional Work

Rob communicated with us throughout the entire process so we always knew the status of the project. On the wedding day, he blended seamlessly into the background, capturing every special moment without ever feeling intrusive. When we received the final video, we were completely blown away! They were extremely detail-oriented and went above and beyond to capture all the meaningful and fun moments of our special day. Rob's skilled eye allowed him to blend seamlessly into the scene and pull together an awesome wedding video that we get compliments on all the time. Yes! I'm happy to send a copy of our certificate of liability insurance to your venue or any other vendors upon request.
Rain can impact certain technical aspects of filming, but I pride myself on always finding a way to get the shot or adapt to the situation. Light rain is usually not an issue, though high winds or heavy rain/snow may pose safety concerns for both gear and crew. Most venues typically have a backup indoor location for ceremonies, but if not, I’ll do everything I can—within reason and safety—to capture the moment as beautifully as possible.
All footage filmed is edited by myself
We’re happy to offer a same-day edit for an additional fee. After your ceremony, one of your videographers will work with an editor on set to put together your same-day edit. We’ll make sure the final video is done in time for your reception.
For short highlight films, elopements, or small weddings, I’m fully capable of shooting solo. However, for larger or longer weddings—and for couples booking more comprehensive packages—I highly recommend having a second shooter. It allows for better coverage, more angles, and ensures that no important moments are missed.
Each package varies, but all include high-quality cinematic coverage, professional audio, drone footage and edited highlight films. I offer everything from short highlight reels to full ceremony and reception edits. Custom packages are also available to fit your vision and budget.
I prioritize seamless collaboration. I’ve worked with many photographers and understand the importance of staying out of each other’s shots while still capturing every key moment. I also touch base with other vendors ahead of time to stay aligned.
Coverage depends on your selected package, typically ranging from 4 to 10 hours. I’ll help you figure out the best timeline to ensure we capture all your essential moments—from getting ready to the dance floor, even to the after party. Scheffler production also offers day before or day after packages to guarantee capture of the whole celebration, filling our your story with fond memories not just from the wedding day. Talk to me! Turnaround time is typically between 4–8 weeks, depending on the season and package. I always keep you updated and deliver everything through an easy-to-access online gallery with downloadable links. I do offer Fast Turn Around packages that ensure the videos completion by your requested date.
If I’ve filmed there before, I’ll happily share examples. If not, I always arrive early to scout locations, check lighting, and plan for the best shots. I also do research beforehand to prepare for unique angles and challenges.
Yes, drone footage is available in most packages (weather and location permitting). I follow FAA regulations and safety guidelines and always check venue and airspace rules in advance. Although rare, some venues based on location (near airport/gov building ect) may restrict air space, making the drone incapable of flying.
I use discreet lapel microphones and audio recorders to capture clear sound during the ceremony, vows, and speeches. Audio is a huge part of storytelling, and I take extra care to ensure it’s crisp and professional. I also use shotgun mics on my cameras, and usually a boom mic during ceremony. All neatly hidden to not take away from your special moment.
Yes! I proudly film all types of weddings and celebrations. Love is love, and every story deserves to be captured with care, respect, and artistry. I’m always open to learning about and honoring the unique traditions and values that make your day meaningful to you.
I’m always upgrading my gear and use top-tier equipment to ensure quality and reliability. My main kit includes the Sony A7R V, A7R IV, A7 III, and FX30, plus a variety of lenses—prime, zoom, anamorphic, and prism for creative shots. I use DJI Mavic drones, GoPros, and a DJI Osmo for dynamic angles. Audio is captured with DJI Mic Pros, Tascam DR-10Ls, shotgun mics, and a Zoom recorder. I carry lights, softboxes, extra batteries, SD cards, and a portable power station—along with backups of everything—so I’m prepared for anything the day brings.
