    Our experience with the W Austin as our wedding venue was horrifying. They lost the straps to my dress. They didn’t tell us they were hosting a huge fitness MLM group at the same time as our wedding. They watched our ceremony from 4 feet away and were very loud. They changed the wedding time a week before the ceremony so the programs that we spent money on were thrown out. They provided us with the cake. We were not able to view it beforehand. Apparently the first cake melted so they refrosted it and stuck it in the freezer. When we went to cut it, we couldn’t it was frozen solid so we never got those moments and photos of us with the cake. When we met With the catering manager after to discuss the issues her response was “we get it you like luxury”. Yes, which why we chose the W and not somewhere else. There were a ton more issues but these are worst ones. We also checked out a day early because of security issues with staff coming into our room unannounced and literally running away when they saw we were in the room. Save yourself the stress and don’t book here
