    Purely Magical!

    Although our reception was small and intimate, my husband and I couldn’t recommend Yost Farm enough! The venue’s attention to detail was extraordinary, and the stunning atmosphere created an enchanting backdrop for our special day. The blend of rustic charm with modern elegance was simply perfect, offering a unique and beautiful setting for our celebration.     Our Dream Venue!

    We were the first couple to get married at The Yost Barn, and let me tell you, it was nothing short of magical. From the moment we set foot in this stunning venue in Rochester, NY, we were completely enchanted. The original wooden beams, elegantly strung with café lights, created a breathtakingly romantic ambiance. The two massive crystal chandeliers added just the right touch of glamour, while the pristine hardwood floors gleamed beneath our feet. Cocktail hour in the carriage house was an absolute highlight. The farmers' table display was not only beautifully arranged but also a feast for the senses. The charcuterie board was the largest and most impressive we’ve ever seen, and the food was simply delicious—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly presented. The Yost Barn itself was a dream come true, meticulously designed with exquisite flower arrangements, stunning tablescapes, and a range of seating options including large king tables and elegant rounds. The bar was massive, ensuring that everyone enjoyed their drinks to the fullest. A special shoutout to Cara, the planner and designer, who truly brought our vision to life. From the impeccable table settings and escort wall to the thoughtful guest gifts and the rich, western-inspired colors and textures, Cara’s attention to detail was extraordinary. She captured our love for western vibes perfectly, weaving them into every aspect of the design. In short, The Yost Barn is an unparalleled venue with an unmatched combination of beauty, exceptional food, and superb service by Farmhouse Table Food. Cara, our dedicated day-of event coordinator, will be by your side every step of the way throughout your special weekend—leading your rehearsal, preparing you to walk down the aisle, and ensuring your guests transition seamlessly from the ceremony to cocktail hour and dinner. Relax and enjoy every moment knowing that your timeline is in capable hands. Cara will work with you to design a floor plan that perfectly suits your vision, including the setup of all furniture and more.
Any setup involving items not directly provided by Yost Farm; such as catering, bar, hair/makeup and florals will be the client's responsibility. We want to ensure that your wedding reflects your unique style and personality, and we're here to support you every step of the way.
Our maximum capacity is 120 guests and the Yost Barn is 2,448 sq/ft.
No, we do not offer in-house catering services, but we do exclusively work with Farmhouse Table Food for all food and beverage services!

We currently do not have air conditioning- the tall barn ceiling helps keep the space cool and comfortable. We do however have 4 propane mushroom heaters for the cooler fall months.
The Yost Farm is limited to one wedding per weekend. Setup can take place on Friday at 10:00am. Your event will take place the following day and must conclude by 11:00pm. All items must be picked up on Sunday by 12:00pm.
Yes, we do have a three stall restroom trailer onsite! ADA is also available for an additional charge.
To reserve your wedding date, we require a signed rental agreement along with non-refundable retainer of 50% of the rental rate. The remaining 50% is due 90 days prior to your scheduled event date. A $1,000 refundable security deposit is due with your second payment. The security deposit will be refunded within 2 weeks after your event if there are no damages or excessive cleanup.
We provide the support of our on-site event coordinator, Cara who will begin assisting you three months prior to your wedding date. Cara will be present to coordinate and support your rehearsal, oversee setup, and ensure that your wedding day runs smoothly, staying on schedule and handling any day-of details.
The Yost Farm can accommodate DJs and bands. Outdoor wedding ceremonies and cocktail hour can have speaker systems for lounge level music. We reserve the right to maintain all noise at a reasonable level and music must conclude by 11pm.
We love our furry friends, however we're not allowing pets at our venue at this time.
