The Venue at Birchwood

YES! We offer a bridal suite and a groom's suite for the bridal party and family to get ready in on their wedding day.

We require you to choose from our list for a few vendors including catering, bartending and security. Then we provide a ‘Vendors We Love’ list for all other vendors (photographer, DJ, rentals, hair & makeup, etc.) and these vendors are not required to be chosen from that list, just suggestions of vendors we love working with. We do require all vendors provide us with any licenses and proof of insurance needed and sign our policy agreement.

100 cars. The Venue at Birchwood is Lyft friendly but if you have a lot of guests planning on using Lyft or uber, then we do suggest arranging other transportation or a shuttle.

Unlike many venues, The Venue of Birchwood has a chapel dedicated to ceremonies and also a separate reception venue. Even if you were planning an outdoor ceremony with us, it could easily be moved into the chapel without skipping a beat in case of rain. Another feature is our covered breezeway between chapel + venue that not only keeps bridal party dry on rainy days from ceremony to reception, but also all of your guests.

You will have access to the venue on Saturday’s and Friday’s from 10:30 am- 11:00 pm and Sunday’s from 11:00 am - 10:00 pm on your wedding day and during that time you can have your ceremony rehearsal.

Yes. When the contract is signed, to continue holding the date, we require a 50% deposit. Nine months prior to the event 25% of the remaining balance will be due. The balance will be required 90 days prior to the event.

To reserve a date us at info@thevenueatbirchwood.com saying you are ready to book a specific date. We suggest you also include a backup date in case your preferred date is unavailable. Dates are reserved on a first requested basis. Whomever has requested to start the contract process with us by email first for a specific date will be first in line. We highly encourage you to come out in person to visit the venue prior to booking a date. You can request a tour (or face-time tour if you live out of the area) on our tour request page, but touring is not required prior to booking a date.
