      Beautiful Spaces and Helpful Staff

      Morton Arboretum was the perfect place to have our wedding. We had our ceremony in the Grand Garden, and our reception in the Gingko Room. We worked with their on-site staff/catering for all the details, and they were very easy to work with and professional. We were able to make sure every little detail was planned out in advance, and they worked with us to make sure that everything was perfect. We specifically worked with Lisa Pye, who was lovely. Would absolutely recommend Morton as a venue (and also just as a lovely place to visit).

    You can host weddings for up to 300 guests at The Morton Arboretum. Here’s a breakdown of popular ceremony and reception spaces: Firefly Pavilion (ceremony & reception): seats ~250; reception-only up to ~300. Ginkgo Room: seats about 270 guests. Sycamore Room: more intimate, seats around 60. Founder’s Room: ideal for smaller gatherings—seats ~100 for ceremony, up to ~130 for a cocktail or light reception. Fragrance Garden: outdoor ceremony seating for approximately 50 guests. These spaces offer flexibility for indoor and outdoor options, whether you’re planning an intimate vow exchange or a full wedding celebration!
    It’s a three-season pavilion — covered with open sides and protective screens. You’ll feel connected to nature with shelter from rain or wind.
    We’re thrilled to offer spaces for both your ceremony and reception, all in one breathtaking location. Exchange vows surrounded by nature’s beauty, then continue the celebration with an unforgettable reception—no need to travel between venues! Our team will help you create a seamless experience so you and your guests can relax and enjoy every moment.
    All weddings at The Morton Arboretum require use of the Arboretum’s exclusive catering partner; outside caterers typically are not permitted.
    Parking is free at the Arboretum. Visitors will find 33 parking lots along the roads winding through the Arboretum, all indicated on the maps. Parking Lot 1 (P1) and Parking Lot 21 (P21) are used the most.
    For the comfort and safety of all guests, we kindly ask that outside alcohol not be brought in for weddings or events. Our team is happy to provide a wide selection of beverage options to make your celebration perfect!
