About this venue
The Grand Banquet Hall is located just a couple blocks from the St. Croix River in historic downtown Stillwater, MN! Originally a part of the logging days that Stillwater was established for. Our ballroom features beautiful stained glass décor, space for up to 350 guests, a generous dance floor and a long stunning antique bar.

The Grand began as a lumberyard during the heyday of Stillwater’s lumber boom. It was re-purposed into our beautiful ballroom in 1994. Left intact is the soaring ceiling with exposed lumber beams which now showcase our trademark antique stained glass dome.

Beautiful and unique wedding venue
We were so happy having our wedding at Grand Banquet Hall. It was beautiful and unique, and all of our guests commented on how special the venue was. The venue was great to work with and everything went off without a hitch. It was truly a magical and perfect day. The food was incredible as well! The staff were kind and professional. We loved the stained glass, especially the one with the river. Stillwater was a great location for a wedding. We got lots of great pictures by the river, and went to the local bars after the wedding. I highly recommend this venue!
