The community center is the perfect location for your celebration! We have two banquet rooms with affordable rates and flexible seating options. Our open catering policy allows you to hire any caterer of your choice. Our pavilion is the perfect spot for outdoor ceremonies, cocktail hours, or receptions. Add a banquet room for the perfect indoor/outdoor event! The community center has two spacious parking lots and our facility is handicapped-accessible. The Haffeman pavilion is a great spot for outdoor ceremonies, cocktail hour, and more! Up to 125 guests can sit at permanent picnic tables. There's a large outdoor prep counter with outlets plus a small room inside with additional seating, two restrooms, a fireplace, and heat/AC. The pavilion is equipped with AV equipment for background music and speeches. Children can enjoy the adjacent playground and skatepark. Rent or bring your own ceremony chairs. Refundable damage deposit: $500.

Garden space: Lawn space with AV capabilities, decorative pond with fountain and benches, ideal space for ceremonies (bring or rent your own chairs), located next to the pavilion.

This package includes use of our largest banquet room with private deck, outdoor pavilion, and garden space. Perfect if you want an outdoor ceremony with an indoor reception! Additional fees include the refundable damage deposit ($1000) and security guard ($400).

For banquet room rentals, no. Alcohol service is available through our exclusive providers. They provide the bar, bartender, and all alcohol to be served at the event. Haffeman pavilion renters may purchase a beer & wine permit for $75+ tax. This allows you to bring keg or canned beer and boxed wine. Glass is not permitted. Alcohol must remain in the pavilion area and may not be brought indoors.

Yes, we have two large parking lots that are free and handicapped-accessible.

Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible.

Set up of tables, chairs, and on-site AV equipment. At the end of your rental, you are responsible for removing your belongings from the room and putting all trash in the trash cans. Our team will take care of emptying garbages, vacuuming, and wiping down tables.

Typical banquet room rental hours for Friday & Saturday events are 8 am - 7pm. Additional time on Fridays and Saturdays are available for an extra fee. Sunday events are 2 - 7 pm. Weekday event timing varies; connect with our team for more details. Haffeman Pavilion rentals are 8 am - 8 pm.

Booking fees for our facilities, and all payments made including deposits, are non-refundable. We are typically able to offer a one-time reschedule of your event if your date no longer works for you.

Our building is located about 24 miles from Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport. Start on I-494 E in Bloomington, then take I-35E N and I-694 W/US-10 W. Take exit 42C onto Lexington Ave N in Shoreview. Turn right on Highway 96, and a left on Victoria St N. We're the third building on the right (behind the library and school district center).

Yes. We have an open catering policy. You may bring in homemade food or hire any caterer of your choosing. Kitchens are available for caterers' use at an additional fee. Caterers must have a valid MN catering license for kitchen access. Catering license and payment must be received at least 30 days prior to your event.
